SURAH AR-RAHMAN
🌹Surah ar-Rahman سورة الرحمن, “The Most Merciful” is the 55th Surah of the Qur’an with 78 ayahs. It is a Madani Surah and has the refrain: “Then which of your Lord’s blessings would you deny?”
This is the only Surah of the Qur’an in which men and the jinn are directly addressed. They are taught to realise the wonders of Allah’s power, His countless blessings, their own helplessness and accountability before Him🌹
🌹Summary Ar-Rahman 1- 78🌹
🎁Surah Ar-Rahman deals with the subject matter of the Blessings of Allah upon us, Revelation and the Hereafter. It is Allah Who created man, taught the Quran and taught us how to convey our feelings and thoughts. 55:1-4
☀🌙 Among Allah’s Signs are the sun, moon, sky & earth, the creatures and the vegetation.
❓”O mankind and Jinn, which of the favours that Allah has given to you do you deny? ”This question is asked 31 times throughout 78 ayat. 55:5-13
👤Allah سبحانه و تعالى created mankind from clay, like that used in pottery, and created the Jinns from the tip of the flame of a smokeless fire. 55:15-16
🌟Allah سبحانه و تعالى is the Lord of the 2 Easts and 2 Wests; the sunrise of summer and winter and the sunset of summer and winter. 55:17
💦Allah has given us 2 types of seas, fresh water and salty water. They have barriers and do not mix. We are blessed with pearls from the oysters. And ships can be used for transportation. 55:18-24
⚡All the residents of earth will perish and die. The residents of the heavens will die, except whomever Allah wills. Only Allah’s Honorable Face will remain, because our Lord, the Exalted, the Blessed, is the Ever Living Who never dies. 55:26-30
🌁 Those who have taqwa will be rewarded in gardens of Paradise with 2 springs flowing called Tasnim and As-Salsabil and delightful fruits. 55:46-53
❤Qasirat At-Tarf are chaste females, wives desiring none except their husbands, seeing them as the most beautiful men in Paradise.
It was reported by Ibn Abbas, that one of these wives will say to her husband,
“By Allah! I neither see anything in Paradise more handsome than you nor more beloved to me than you. So praise be to Allah Who made you for me and made me for you.” 55:56-61
👑 The Blessed Name of Allah; Dhil-Jalal wal-Ikram. He is Worthy of being honored and always obeyed, revered and thus worshipped, appreciated and never unappreciated, and remembered and never forgotten.
👉🏼Muslim recorded that A’ishah رضي الله عنها said, “When the Messenger of Allah ﷺ would say the Salam (completing prayer), he would only sit as long as it takes him to say,
✨Allaahumma anta al-salaam wa minka al-salaam tabaarakta ya dhaa’l-jalaali wa’l-ikraam
✨O Allah! You are As-Salam, and peace comes from You. Blessed be You Ya Dhal-Jalal wal-Ikram. 55:78
