Kaduna Zonal Dawah:  NASFAT Trains Over 2000 Members on Dawah

NASFAT, in pursuance of equipping its members with needed Islamic knowledge has trained over 2000 members on Dawah.

Coordinator, Women Dawah, Hajiya Sadiat Onike disclosed this at the just concluded 2023 Zonal Dawa’ah Training programme held in Kaduna.

The programme she said is inline with NASFAT’s mission’s statement of developing an enlightened Muslim society, nurtured by a true understanding of lslam for the spiritual upliftment and welfare of mankind.

According to Hajia Sadiat one of IET’s NASFAT core facilitators, over 2000 members and non members of NASFAT have been trained so far.

“In 2022, we trained over one thousand people. Year 2023, we also trained over one thousand. The one we just did in Lagos we trained 170 people.

“In November, we trained 345 fountain university students of NASFAT. Final year students of NASFAT fountain university Oshogbo on module 101.

“The training cuts across zones.

In Ogun Zone 2, over 90 participants. Oyo zone1, over 70 participants trained.

“We started with Auchi, south – south l and the same south south 1 did a training in November ending to early part of December, in Asaba.

The northwest zone 1 also did their training with over 60 participants in attendance.”

Hajia Fauziya Oladoja who had been on this journey together with her advised participants to take the lessons they learnt seriously.

Speaking , CPC Committee Chairman,  Imam Ma’rooph Muhammed Raji, Zonal Missioner, NASFAT Kaduna said, though the task is challenging, the Zone is not resting on its owl as it is trying all its possible best to encourage its members to find it worthwhile to key into the programme.

Appreciating NASFAT leadership in its strive to educating its members, Imam Ma’rooph saluted the President, NASFAT Worldwide, Alhaji Niyi Yusuf and Chief Missioner, NASFAT Worldwide, Imam Ma’aruf Onike, the initiator of the programme, for deeming it fit to in partnership with the Education Islamic Trust (IET) help in broadening and equipping members with spiritual knowledge.

He thanked the National Executive NASFAT Board member, Engr, Muhyideen Alimi Yusuf, Zonal Chairman, Alhaji Popoola Gambari, former Zonal  Secretary, Ahmed Muideen, Management , National Teachers Institute, Kaduna and others who in one way or the other contributed and supported  the actualization of the programme.

NASFAT Kaduna zone, he said will continue to strive to maintain it members tap from the spiritual knowledge the programme offers.

With the NASFAT Missionary Institute,  (NMI) ‘Train- the- Trainer Course’ in place, the programme he assured will be sustained.

NASFAT National Executive member, Engr. Muhyideen Alimi Yusuf while declaring the event open urged the participants to remain focused in their bid to increasing their knowledge.

At the end of the training, participants who proved themselves in various courses went home with different gifts.

The training he said is not competition inclined but understanding what lessons  the modules are trying to impact. It is therefore important he said that every participant continues to strive towards acquiring knowledge to equip themselves and improve on dawah programmes.

The 4 days training took participants through various subjects including Shari’ah Intelligence Course.
