{"id":10065,"date":"2021-11-11T20:18:30","date_gmt":"2021-11-11T20:18:30","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/newsreservoir.com\/?p=10065"},"modified":"2021-11-11T20:18:30","modified_gmt":"2021-11-11T20:18:30","slug":"job-creation-itf-partners-stakeholders-on-skill-aquisition-programme-laments-increasing-social-security-challenges","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/newsreservoir.com\/?p=10065","title":{"rendered":"Job Creation:\u00a0 ITF Partners Stakeholders On Skill Aquisition Programme \u00a0&#8230; Laments Increasing Social, Security Challenges"},"content":{"rendered":"<div dir=\"auto\">Job Creation:\u00a0 ITF Partners Stakeholders<\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\">On Skill Acquisition Programme<\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\">\u00a0&#8230; Laments Increasing Social, Security Challenges<\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\"><\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\"><\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\">Industrial Training Fund has lamented that despite efforts by the Federal Government to reduce unemployment still lack of jobs continue to lead to numerous social and insecurity challenges particularly in Kaduna state and the country.<\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\"><\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\"><\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\">The Director General of the Fund, Sir Joseph Ari stated this during an interactive forum with stakeholders held in Kaduna.<\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\"><\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\"><\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\">The Director General who was represented by the Area Manager, ITF Kaduna Office Mallam Yahya Manu said it&#8217;s because of the urgent needs to create jobs through technical vocation skills acquisition that the ITF declared this year as the year of skills escallation for prosperity in order to empower Nigerians with skills for entrepreneurship and job creation.<\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\"><\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\"><\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\">He explained that the theme of this year&#8217;s interactive forum is employment skills escalation, the role of ITF and stakeholders. As part of efforts to deliberate and take decisions for the development of the country.<\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\"><\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\"><\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\">Sir, Joseph Ari further explained that the ITF conducted a skills gap survey of the agriculture and agro-allied, textile, construction, infrastructure, health and information and communication technology sectors for the Kaduna State Government.<\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\"><\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\"><\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\">In a remark, the representative of Ministry of Business, Innovation and Technology, Kaduna State, Mr. Baye Peter Nama said the state had partner Bank of Industry and Kaduna business school and trained over five thousand individuals.<\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\"><\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\"><\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\">He explained that the state government also linked beneficiaries to either start up or grow existing businesses.<\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\"><\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\"><\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\">Mr. Baye Namu further explained that the government developed a frame work for the management of innovation persons and ideas in the state.<\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\"><\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\"><\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\">&#8221; The aim is to provide a government support environment for innovation to be incubated, promoted, protected and commercialized where possible&#8221; he said.<\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\"><\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\"><\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\">In a paper presentation, Mr. Moshoud Adegbite emphasized on the need that Industrial Training Fund should focus more on the people with less privileged in order to give them sense of belonging.<\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\"><\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\"><\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\">Stakeholders from various organizations participated during the meeting.<\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\"><\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Job Creation:\u00a0 ITF Partners Stakeholders On Skill Acquisition Programme \u00a0&#8230; Laments Increasing Social, Security Challenges Industrial Training Fund has lamented that despite efforts by the Federal Government to reduce unemployment still lack of jobs continue to lead to numerous social and insecurity challenges particularly in Kaduna state and the country.
