{"id":10419,"date":"2021-12-21T16:44:08","date_gmt":"2021-12-21T16:44:08","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/newsreservoir.com\/?p=10419"},"modified":"2021-12-21T16:48:32","modified_gmt":"2021-12-21T16:48:32","slug":"kaduna-el-rufai-approves-bonus-for-civil-servants","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/newsreservoir.com\/?p=10419","title":{"rendered":"Kaduna: El-Rufai Approves Bonus For Civil Servants"},"content":{"rendered":"<div dir=\"auto\"><\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\">Kaduna: El-Rufai Approves Bonus For Civil Servants<\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\"><\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\">The Governor of Kaduna State, Malam Nasir El-Rufai, has approved the payment of end of year bonus to civil servants in the state.<\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\"><\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\">Civil servants will this month receive bonuses ranging from 100% of monthly pay for junior civil servants to 30% for senior civil servants.<\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\"><\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\">A statement from Sir Kashim Ibrahim House dated\u00a0 21st December 2021,<\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\">signed by the Special Adviser to the Governor (Media and Communication), Muyiwa Adekeye explained that, &#8220;the end of year bonus is part of the state government\u2019s efforts to boost morale and enhance the welfare of civil servants.<\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\"><\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\">&#8220;Under the scheme, workers from Grade Levels 1-7 will be paid 100% of their monthly salary as bonus. Middle level civil servants from Grade Level 8-13 will get 40%, while senior officers on Grade Level 14 and above will receive 30% of their monthly earning.<\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\"><\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\">The 2021 end of year bonus the statement added, will cost the state N1.382bn.<\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\"><\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\">&#8220;In September 2019, the Kaduna State Government became the first government, national or subnational, to pay the new national minimum wage.
