Abdulmalik Tanko, proprietor who allegedly kills Hanifa Abubakar, and two other accomplices, Hashimu Isyaku and Fatima Musa have been arraigned in a Kano Magistrate court.<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
They appeared before Justice Mahmud Jibrin.<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
The three accused persons have been charged with kidnapping, criminal conspiracy, concealing of truth and culpable homicide contrary to section 97, 274, 277, 221 of the penal code.<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
The state Attorney General and Commissioner for Justice, Musa Lawan prayed that the court grant them seven days for the councils to have ample time to properly prepare the charge file and also remand the three accused in correctional centre.<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
The Presiding Judge, Justice Mahmud Jibrin granted their application and adjourned the matter till 2nd of February for hearing.<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
The accused Abdulmalik Tanko and two of his accomplices have been arrested for allegedly killing Hanifa Abubakar, poisoning her to death and collecting the sum of a hundred thousand Naira only from the family.<\/div>\n

In another development, the Kano state government has revoked the certificate of all private schools as it moves to revalidate their certification.<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
This revocation was in response to the gruesome murder of late Hanifa Abubakar by her school proprietor, and two others.<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
Hon Muhammad Sanusi, the State\u2019s commissioner for education stated this today while addressing Newsmen on the decision of the government to revoke all certificates of private schools in the State.<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n

<\/div>\n
He said \u201d we are all aware of the ongoing case concerning Hanifa\u2019s death as she was gruesomely murdered by a suspect called Abdulmalik Tanko who is the proprietor of Noble Kids Academy and in view of the sad incidence, especially regarding to how she was murdered in the private school, the State government has decided to withdraw the certificate of all private schools for revalidation.<\/div>\n

<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
\u201cThe ministry of education will set a criteria for their recertification. A panel has been set-up comprising of the ministry of Justice, Department of State Service, (DSS), Civil Defense and other agencies to look into the revalidation of all private schools in Kano State.\u201d He said.<\/div>\n

Earlier, angry youths were reported to have set Noble Kids School, where slain Hanifa Abubakar attended on fire.<\/div>\n

That the\u00a0 school proprietor was involved in the act of her abduction, poisoning to death and burial despite collecting ransom.<\/div>\n
