Kaduna state Ministry of Human Services and Social Development has assured Nastrul Lahil-L-Fatih Society (NASFAT) Kaduna of a healthy collaboration.<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
This assurance was given when members of the Executives, on Thursday paid the Commissioner a curtsey visit.<\/div>\n

<\/div>\n
Speaking, Honorable Commissioner, Ministry of Human Services and Social Development, Hajiya Hafsat Mohammed Baba commended NASFAT for their activities which she said impact on the lives of the people in the state.<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
Not only is their peace drive a thing of commendation, their areas of interventions in health, education including skills acquisition she said will further boost government’s efforts in the realization of improving the lots of its people.<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
“I must commend your organization. It is well strictured.<\/div>\n
NASFAT is one organization l admire. I admire it because it has a very dynamic structure and you have infrastructure in almost everywhere in this country. Even abroad, l learnt you have branches.<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
“I believe that once we are organized, that is the only way we can touch the lives of the people. That is the only way we can unify and respect each other whether we are from the same religion, the same tribe or not.<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
“NASFAT is more organized than many societies. Even the Jama’tul Nastrul Islam, (JNI) that has been on ground for over 60yrs is not as strong and structured as NASFAT.<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
The Commissioner also commended the structure on ground for intending pilgrims.<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
“I know that during the hajj you have your airline to take care of your pilgrims to ensure they arrive there safely and well taken cared of in terms of their health and welfare. You have your tent, already rented apartment in Mecca and Medina and you have your guide. Is really something l truly admire.<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n

<\/div>\n
NASFAT’S collaboration will further strengthen their activities. She said.<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
\n
Apart from empowerment, we are lagging behind in education especially in the northern part of Nigeria.<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
“We have almost about 15million children out of school. This is calling for concern. We have health issues. Our women, are they attending anti natal care?, family planning? Are we supposed to be having children anyhow, and leaving them on the streets? No! So, this kind of intervention actually\u00a0 supports government efforts.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

“So, collectively you can see we have set a goal and we are working towards that goal. I am sure NASFAT will be working with education, NASFAT will be working with health, NASFAT will be working with Ministry of Human Services, NASFAT will be working with Ministry for innovation and technology because of skills.<\/div>\n

“I want to assure you that we are going to continue collaborating, we are going to continue to work together to ensure that the people of Kaduna state, we give them the maximum of whatever we can by the grace of Almighty Allah.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

Adding his voice, the permanent Secretary, Ministry of Human Services and Social Development, Mr. Simon Joseph,<\/div>\n
urged the society to remain committed to its course while commending NASFAT for its openness in its membership drive which is devoid of tribal affiliation. That he described as going to boost the unity we all crave for.<\/div>\n

Earlier in his remarks, Vice Chairman NASFAT Kaduna Branch, Alhaji AbdulAkeem Adeniji speaking on behalf of NASFAT Kaduna Branch Chairman, Alhaji AbdulGaniyu Ajao commended the ministry for its laudable programmes while assuring NASFAT’S willing in helping to achieve its goals.<\/div>\n

He said NASFAT’S four cardinal principles of ‘HELD’, ( H= Health, E= Education, L=Livelihood, D= Dawa’h) is vigorously pursued and that the society is ready to assist in the actualization of Kaduna state government’s programmes.<\/div>\n

Contributing, the Zonal\/Chief Missionary, NASFAT Kaduna Branch Imam Marooph Raji who presently is the Head, General Welfare Unit, Center For Tsangaya and General Studies, National Board For Arabic and\u00a0 Islamic Studies, (NBAIS) pledged his support in the area of enhancing speedy solutions to standardizing the traditional Islamic education (Madarasa) saying, the board is working towards getting the almajiris off the streets.<\/div>\n
This action the honorable Commissioner gladly welcomed as a step in the right direction.<\/div>\n

“We want the schools (Almajiris schools) in existence to be renovated and ensure that the education of the almajiris are enhanced so as to take them off the streets. She said.<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
NASFAT Women Affairs Secretary, Hajiya Kudirat Akande, thanked the Commissioner for finding the society worthy of recognition as it looked forward to the partnership.<\/div>\n
