A Non Governmental Charitable International Organization (SCIO) in Kaduna popularly known as SABIL has opened a primary health care in the state.<\/div>\n

The clinic is meant to offer health services to the less priviledged and vulnerable members of the society.<\/div>\n

The President, SABIL Charitable International Organization, Hajiya\u00a0 Halimatu Sadiya Abdu made this known while delivering her speech at the opening ceremony held at its permanent\u00a0 site, Angwan Dosa Kaduna.<\/div>\n

According to her, the facility is opened to everyone within the locality irrespective of religion or tribe.\u00a0 ‘SABIL’ just as the name implies,\u00a0 is delivering its services based on ‘Fissabililah’ ( that is free, for the sake of Allah). It is a charitable organization with little or no cost attached. So also is the newly opened clinic running charitable services. She said.<\/div>\n

This Charitable International Organization formed by women with the milk of human kindness she stated had for years\u00a0 aside the running of a primary education for the orphans had dreamt of establishing a clinic for the general well being of the less priviledged and vulnerable in the society.<\/div>\n

<\/div>\n
“Sabil Charitable International Organisation (SCIO) popularly Known as SABIL is a Non-Governmental Organisation established<\/div>\n
in 2005. It was established by an Association of Women with the soul aim of promoting and improving the welfare of the less privileged members especially children, orphans, widows destitute and other vulnerable members in the society.”<\/div>\n

Expressing her gratitude for a dream come through, she added.<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n

“For the past ten years, it has always been the dream of this noble association to set up a clinic in order to assist most especially the orphans, widows<\/div>\n
and destitute. Alhamdu lillah, Alhamdu lillah, Alhamdu lillah, we<\/div>\n
cannot thank ALLAH (SWT) enough for making our dreams come true.<\/div>\n

<\/div>\n
“Orphans receive medication for free and the less priviledged almost free as well because opening of folder is just N200, admission N500, consultation N200. Delivery N4000 and insignificant laboratory charges. Everything is almost free.<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
Amongst the staff is a licensed medical doctor who heads the facility.<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
\u00a0“SABIL primary healthcare development initiative established 19th November, 2021 commenced on the 5th of December, 2021.<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
\u00a0“It is fully registered and licensed by the ministry of health and accredited<\/div>\n
with Kaduna state contributory health management authority (KADCHMA). The hospital has an established hospital bank account. She informed.<\/div>\n

Hajiya Sadiya while appreciating the efforts of the board of trustees said,<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n

<\/div>\n
“They have been doing exceptionally well and marvellous to the association. They are our ‘life-wire’. Infact without their assistance and that of other philanthropists, this hospital would not have materialized.<\/div>\n
I wish to also appreciate the contribution of Jamilu Haruna who worked tirelessly to identify the necessary departments and the registration of the hospital. At this moment, he is making efforts to register over 400 orphans with KADCHMA.”<\/div>\n

Also appreciated is the efforts of the Imams, community leaders, the entire staff of SABIL for their unflinching support in making the dream worthwhile.<\/div>\n

In his speech the Grand Patron of<\/div>\n
Sabil Charitable International Organisation, the Emir of Zauzau, Amb. Nuhu Bamali urged the organization to keep its dream afloat as it continues with its good work.<\/div>\n
Represented by Hakimin Kawo,<\/div>\n
Alhaji Jibrin Mohammed Dan Magaji (Dan Makwayon Zauzau) appealed to the generality of Muslim Ummah to follow the teachings of Islam by contributing to the upliftment of mankind.<\/div>\n

He urged individuals to assist SABIL in its\u00a0 commitments to put smiles on the faces of the needy.<\/div>\n
The Hakimin on his part expressed joy that the clinic is within his vicinity.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

Also speaking,\u00a0 the President Board of Trustees, SABIL, Alhaji Muhammed Yusuf Lere also\u00a0 commended them for their resilient and foresight.<\/div>\n

The clinic he said will go a long way in touching the lives of the people . He also called on well to do Nigerians to support the cause.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

Before commissioning the health centre, the Kaduna state Commissioner of Health, Dr. Amina Baloni commended the good work of the organization which she said helps in complementing Kaduna state government’s dream to bring health services closer to the people.<\/div>\n
She urged the organization to abide by the laid down principles in its operational activities.<\/div>\n

Health she said is wealth. She is of the believe that the community clinic will add values to the general well being of the people. Government she said is ready to partner with SABIL to sustain its dream.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

Giving a run down of the operational\u00a0 programme of the facility, Dr. Jamilu<\/div>\n
who renders his services on the basis of fissabilila said the facility runs a basic primary health care service,<\/div>\n
\n
such as out-patient consultation, in-patient admission, dispensing, laboratory services, admissions, delivery and antenatal services. Services he said are opened to patients on a daily basis as from 9am to 7pm. He also informed that the clinic recently received delivery of its first baby.<\/div>\n

In his call, Dr.\u00a0 Jamilu appealed to the commissioner of health to assist the organization in enrolling orphans in their school and children within the locality under government health scheme saying, SABIL is the one footing all bills including feeding and educational expenses of its orphans. This he said will help in reducing the organization’s burden.<\/div>\n

He also called on President, FOMWAN Kaduna Pharm. Aisha Isyaku Tukur to use her good office in reaching out for assistance in terms of drugs which he said will go a long way in augmenting the cost of drugs by the organization.<\/div>\n
