The former Governor of Kaduna state, Dr Mukhtar Ramalan Yero, has felicitated with Muslims as they celebrate Eid-El-Fitr, to mark the end of the Ramadan Fast.<\/div>\n

Dr Ramalan Yero, in a statement by his spokesperson, Yusuf Idris, charged Nigerians to re-dedicate themselves to their creator.<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
He called for sober reflection and fervent prayers for Kaduna state and Nigeria as a whole, as its citizens continue to live in fear as a result of insecurity, poverty and poor social conditions.<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
The former Governor, while congratulating Muslims for successfully completing the Ramadan Fast, urged them to continue to practice the virtues of humility, support and kindness to one another, as the cardinal principles of the Ramadan period.<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
He encouraged citizens of the state to intensify prayers for overall peace, stability and unity in the country.<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
Stressing, he said the month of Ramadan is a month that the Holy Qur’an was revealed to Prophet Muhammad (SAW), and had come with a lot of lessons, which include dedication and sacrifice to the Almighty Allah.<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
A time like this when Nigeria is facing unprecedented security challenges, among other problems, it becomes imperative for citizens to look inward and re-dedicate themselves to their Creator, through prayers and sincere acts of worship. He said.<\/div>\n
