{"id":11877,"date":"2022-05-27T07:24:29","date_gmt":"2022-05-27T07:24:29","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/newsreservoir.com\/?p=11877"},"modified":"2022-05-27T07:24:29","modified_gmt":"2022-05-27T07:24:29","slug":"kaduna-golf-club-holds-clinic-mini-tournament-for-children","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/newsreservoir.com\/?p=11877","title":{"rendered":"Kaduna Golf Club Holds Clinic, Mini Tournament For Children"},"content":{"rendered":"<div dir=\"auto\">Kaduna Golf Club Holds Clinic, Mini Tournament For Children<\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\"><\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\">Kaduna<\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\"><\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\">As part of activities to celebrate this year&#8217;s edition of Children&#8217;s Day marked on May 27 annually, Kaduna Golf Club, Ladies Section is engaging children to a fun filled golf clinic, mini tournament and other activities on Friday.<\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\"><\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\">Briefing newsmen preparatory to the programme, the Kaduna Golf Club Lady Captain, Hajia Hussaina Zubair Jibril said the golf clinic is for children between the ages of 5-18 years.<\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\"><\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\">On the mini tournament, the lady captain said, it will be in three categories; ages 5-8 category, 9-13 category and 14-18 category, adding that various prizes will be given to\u00a0 winners alongside souvenirs for all the participants.<\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\"><\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\">The lady captain also disclosed that other fun activities available for the children include, horse riding, face painting, bouncing castle, board games eg Scrabble among others.<\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\"><\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\">She further disclosed that Kaduna State Deputy Governor, Hajya Hadiza Sabuwa Balarabe, Commissioner of Sports Development, Idris Samaila Nyam among other dignitaries are expected to grace the programme.<\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\"><\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\">&#8221; We are organizing the golf clinic and mini tournament as part of efforts to introduce the children to the game of golf and to also provide them an opportunity to have fun on the celebration of their day.<\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\"><\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\">&#8221; We have support from MicroManna, NIgerian Bottling Company, Nigerian Breweries among others,&#8221; she said.<\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\"><\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\">The lady captain also informed that the lady section will also be celebrating the International Women&#8217;s Day Golf Tournament on the\u00a0 June 7, 2022 with the theme; &#8220;Walk the course,\u00a0 learn the game&#8221; which she said is targeted at introducing women organisations to the game of golf.<\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\"><\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\">According to her, a number of women Organisations has already been invited to participate in activities lined up for the celebration of the day at the Kaduna golf club.<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Kaduna Golf Club Holds Clinic, Mini Tournament For Children Kaduna As part of activities to celebrate this year&#8217;s edition of Children&#8217;s Day marked on May 27 annually, Kaduna Golf Club, Ladies Section is engaging children to a fun filled golf clinic, mini tournament and other activities on Friday.
