YET ANOTHER BIRNIN – GWARI TERRORISTS ATTACK, AS BANDITS ABDUCT SCORES, SET EIGHT VEHICLES ABLAZE.<\/div>\n

Bandits have once again launched another attack on Birnin – Gwari Kaduna highway abducting scores of innocent travellers.<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
This was disclosed in a press statement issued 31st May, 2022, signed by Chairman, Birnin- Gwari Vanguards for Security and Good Governance, Ibarahim Abubakar Nagwari, and made available to newsmen.<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
According to the statement, “Today 31st May, 2022, terrorists along Birnin-Gwari- Kaduna highway intercepted a convoy of motorists with security escorts between Kuriga and Manini near Udawa and prey on unspecified number of people that were abducted into the bush.<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
The last four days the statement revealed had been terrible as<\/div>\n
“terrorists had lay siege on motorists on Birnin-Gwari-Kaduna highway, abducting as well as killing and wounded many innocent citizens.<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
\n
“In the sad event today, eight vehicles were set ablaze by the terrorists, while unaccounted number of innocent motorists mostly women and Children were waylaid into the bush by the terrorists for ransom.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
The group is calling on the authorities to show concern on the deteriorating security around Birnin-Gwari-Kaduna highway.<\/div>\n

“It is evidently, clear, that, unholy marriage of bandits and Ansaru\u00a0 ( Boko Haram) has declared a total war on our people, yet the political will by the authorities to honour their oaths of office to protect Lives and Property of our citizens remains a mirage.<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
“While politicians are engaged on their mission to clinch power comes Twenty-twenty-three, none of the gladiators seeking for elections has any agenda of emancipating our people from the bondage of terrorists and miscreants.<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
Moreso, none of this politicians deem it fit to visit Birnin-Gwari to either see delegates, but rather called delegates to Kaduna for consultations.”<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
However, the organization appreciates the efforts of the security agents, “in their passion to curtailed the precarious Insecurity bedeviling Birnin-Gwari general area.”<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
The organization is calling on everyone to help in praying for God’s intervention<\/div>\n

for safe return of peace and those abducted who they said are mostly women and Children.<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
The group while urging citizens to take maximum precautions travelling on the highway lamented.<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
“We are citizens of this country and not prodigal sons that were left wandering, like ” Sheep’s without Shepherd”. Enough is Enough.<\/div>\n

“Our people has reach a point of no return, hence the need for the people of Birnin-Gwari and communities along the Kaduna-Birnin-Gwari highway to halt with immediate effect traveling on this notorious highway from tomorrow till security situation improves. The statement added.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
