Continuous dumping of hazardous wastes is harmful to living organisms in the water.<\/div>\n

This revealation was made during the<\/div>\n
World ocean day’s celebration.<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
According to him,<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
\n
“Millions of aquatic mammals face extinctions due to human irrational activities of dumping all sort of trash and garbage into the river and oceans.<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
\"\"<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
\n
\u201cWe dump everything in the oceans, including plastic bags and other plastic debris, garbage, and toxic chemicals, crude oil, sewage and nuclear wastes.<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
Dr Piman noted that plastic pollution has out numbered the amount of marine species in the water thus, millions of aquatic marine are dying silently.<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
\u201cWe kill thousands of aquatic animals daily without knowing the consequences, hence, there is need to halt this ugly attitude. He added.<\/div>\n
