Nastrul Lahil-L-Fatih Society (NASFAT) has emphasized on the need for one to\u00a0 submit to the will of Allah.<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
By submitting oneself to the will of Allah, Allah in His grace will begin to make things fall into place. It said.<\/div>\n

This was part of the lecture delivered to mark the 1444 Hijra, organized by NASFAT Doka Group at its Muri road Mosque, Kaduna.<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
The Guest lecturer Assistant Missionary, NASFAT Kaduna Branch, Austaz Mustapha Abdulkareem speaking on the lessons of Hijra called on the Muslim Ummah and the generality of Nigerians to turn a new live for the betterment,\u00a0 peace and development of the nation.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

The Holy Prophet SAW he said followed the injunctions of Allah through total submission to His commandments. (Will Of Allah).<\/div>\n

Explaining he said, the Holy Prophet (SAW) believed and had trust in Allah. He said, whenever Allah asked him to do something, he saw the task as going to be a favour to him and his ummah. (followers). He left his family in Mecca to migrate to Medina to accomplish Allah’s task.<\/div>\n

Ustaz Mustapha called on every Nigerian to have total submission to the will of Allah as well as remain very prayerful in everything one does. He urged every Muslim ummah to follow the injunctions in the Quran and the Sunnah of the Holy Prophet Muhammed SAW..<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

“The moment one submits himself\/herself to the will of Allah,\u00a0 Allah will give us that which we are seeking for. This includes the peace and harmony we are craving for.<\/div>\n

Explaining the word Hijra, he said<\/div>\n
The literal meaning of hijra is to migrate from one place to another.\u00a0 Which the Holy Prophet SAW did, from Mecca to Medina. There is lesson attached to this movement. He said.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

The act signifies moving away from bad things to good,\u00a0 and moving closer to Allah. That is, moving away from sins. As Muslims we are expected to follow the footsteps of the Prophet by moving away from sins and move closer to Allah. He added.<\/div>\n

“We have a lot to learn from the Holy Prophet Muhammed, SAW.\u00a0 If not for the submission to the will of Allah, it is not easy to leave your family and migrate.<\/div>\n
The Holy Prophet left his family in mecca because of Allah SWT to go to Medina. This is the first lesson. That is, whatever you want to do, make sure that you do it with sincerity. You should do it with the fear of Allah.<\/div>\n

“The second one is Attawakul Allah, that is trust in Allah. The Prophet had trust in Allah. Having total submission to the will of Allah in everything. The moment you have that, things will come with ease.”<\/div>\n

The presenter while enjoining members to remain peaceful harped on the need for patience in whatever one does as nothing comes easy.<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
“Whatever you want to achieve in life, whatever the ambition you are aspiring for, you have to follow it with patience because Allah SWT stresses\u00a0 in the holy Quran that whatever you want to get will require patience to achieve it so we should develop and apply patience in whatever we are seeking for and Allah Insha Allah will support it.”.<\/div>\n

He encouraged Nigerians to always pray for their leaders for God’s guidance noting that if they are well guided, the nation will be a better place to live in. And to our leaders, they should always do the needful as we shall all account for our deeds before our creator.<\/div>\n

“We should be patient with our leaders. We should pray to Allah that Allah should support our leaders because is Allah that puts them there. If you curse your leader, you’re cursing the entire nation. Is just like when you enter a bus and you rain curses on the driver of the bus. If the bus crashes and gets accident, it is not only the driver of the bus that will be affected. Same thing applies to leadership. If they are not doing the right thing we should support them with prayers that Allah should guide them on the right part.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
Our leaders owes it a duty to do the needful, not forgetting that we shall all account for our deeds when the time comes. He stressed.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

Prayer for peace and tranquility for members, Kaduna state\u00a0 and the nation at large was led by the Lead Missionary, Ustaz AbdulKabir Uthman and his co- Missionary board member Austaz Abdullahi Raji.<\/div>\n

Speaking, Chairman NASFAT Doka Group, Hon Musbau Adepoju thanked Allah for giving them the grace to witness the Hijra which he said is the first to be commemorated by the group.<\/div>\n

“We are thanking Allah for sparing our lives to witness this year’s 1444 hijra. We pray to Almighty Allah to witness many more.<\/div>\n
Infact anybody that sleeps and wakes up should always thank God.<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
Adepoju also used the occasion to call on Muslim brothers and sisters to join NASFAT saying, it is not a Yoruba association as being mis construed by some people.<\/div>\n

<\/div>\n
“NASFAT is a Muslim organization opened to all Muslims irrespective of tribe.<\/div>\n
I am urging our Muslim brothers and sisters to come and pray with us every Sundays. We engage in other activities beneficial to not only to our members but other people in the community.<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
Amongst such activities are the Dawah program where assistance is extended to our members and other members of the community through our empowerment distribution exercise.<\/div>\n
Also is the medical outreach by the society.<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
Also speaking, Lead Missionary, NASFAT Doka Group, Ustaz Kabir Uthman said it is an opportunity to sensitize many on the importance of the Muslim calendar which he said helps individuals in planing their activities for the year.<\/div>\n

“We are trying to sensitize our Muslim brothers and sisters on the importance of hijra and for those who know, it serves as a reminder in striving in the course of Allah. We should leave what Allah forbids and do what Allah enjoins us to do. He said.<\/div>\n

Emphasizing further on the misconception by some people that NASFAT is a Yoruba society, he has this to say.<\/div>\n
“I think why people see it as a Yoruba society is because it was founded by Yorubas. Any tribe you are, you’re welcome as long as you are a Muslim. It is not for Yorubas because we don’t have special Quran for Yoruba,\u00a0 we don’t have special asalat (prayer) for Yoruba, neither do we have different kibla. (direction of prayer) for Yoruba. We do the same thing We say the same thing and we say the same Lailaillalah, and we go for same pilgrimage.<\/div>\n
We are the same before Allah. Every tribe is welcomed.<\/div>\n

Women Affairs Secretary, NASFAT Doka Group, Hajiya Bashira Sheidu has urged the women to take the lessons learnt seriously.<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
Women she emphasized are home makers and owe it a responsibility to instil some values in their children.<\/div>\n
Not only should they be taught to remain steadfast but also to appreciate Allah.<\/div>\n

“Alhamdullilah, Alhamdullilah,<\/div>\n
What l have to say to our women is that today’s lecture is a reflection of change for us. We the women are the first teachers of our children and whatever the children do at home will translate on the society. Whatever we were doing before that is wrong, we should change for better.<\/div>\n

Hajiya Bashira stressing on the act of being grateful to Allah said the more you are thankful to Allah, the more you get.<\/div>\n

\u00a0“As Muslims, we believe the more you thank Allah, the more you get.<\/div>\n
If you don’t thanks Allah, it doesn’t take anything away from Him. So, It is always good to be thankful to Allah.<\/div>\n

“Even we human beings if l am given something and l am thankful and appreciative, the person will be willing to do more for me. Not to talk of God that doesn’t need anything from us.<\/div>\n
