{"id":12836,"date":"2022-08-30T09:30:03","date_gmt":"2022-08-30T09:30:03","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/newsreservoir.com\/?p=12836"},"modified":"2022-08-30T09:30:03","modified_gmt":"2022-08-30T09:30:03","slug":"court-remands-kaduna-pastor-for-raping-impregnating-two-sisters","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/newsreservoir.com\/?p=12836","title":{"rendered":"Court Remands Kaduna Pastor For Raping, Impregnating Two Sisters\u00a0"},"content":{"rendered":"<div dir=\"auto\">Court Remands Kaduna Pastor For Raping, Impregnating Two Sisters<\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\"><\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\"><\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\"><\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\">A chief magistrate court in Kafanchan, Kaduna State has remanded a\u00a0 pastor, Mr Enoch Sule in a correctional centre for allegedly raping two sisters which resulted in pregnancies.<\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\"><\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\"><\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\"><\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\"><\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\">The accused who is the General Overseer of Prayer Tabernacle Ministry, Kamurum Bajju, was charged by the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) for raping two sisters contrary to section 258 of the Kaduna State Penal Code Law.<\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\"><\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\"><\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\"><\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\">When the case came up for mention, the prosecutor, Marcus Audu, told the court that the illicit affairs of the pastor were reported to the NSCDC by the Salama Sexual Assault Referral Centre, Kafanchan on August 8th, 2022.<\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\"><\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\"><\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\"><\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\">He told the court that the accused first deceived the older sister, 19, into accompanying him to the mountain for prayer and fasting.<\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\"><\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\"><\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\"><\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\">While on the mountain, the defendant was said to have instructed the girl to remove her clothes and pray naked as directed by the Holy Spirit.<\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\"><\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\"><\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\">According to the Civil Defence prosecutor, Sule then had sexual intercourse against her wish, which resulted in her pregnancy.<\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\"><\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\"><\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\"><\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\">A\u00a0 month later, the court was told,\u00a0 the accused repeated the same trick on the girl\u2019s younger sister, 17 years old, and also got her pregnant.<\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\"><\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\"><\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\"><\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\">Thus, reports on the two sisters\u2019 case\u00a0 files against the pastor were filed and read out separately.<\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\"><\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\"><\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\"><\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\">The presiding judge, Samson Kwasu, while remanding the accused person in a correctional facility directed the prosecutor to forward the case files to the State Director of Public Prosecution for legal advice.<\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\"><\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\"><\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\"><\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\">The judge thus, adjourned the case to September, 8th for further mention.<\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\"><\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\"><\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\"><\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\">Source: Tribute<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Court Remands Kaduna Pastor For Raping, Impregnating Two Sisters A chief magistrate court in Kafanchan, Kaduna State has remanded a\u00a0 pastor, Mr Enoch Sule in a correctional centre for allegedly raping two sisters which resulted in pregnancies.
