The Katsina State gubernatorial campaign flag off of the All Progressives Congress, APC in Faskari, headquarters of Faskari Local Government, Monday attracted unprecedented crowd making political observers and analysts describing it the best political outing by any political party in the history of the state.<\/p>\n

\n
Almost all the APC critical stakeholders in the state led by the Katsina State Governor, Rt Hom. Aminu Bello Masari were present. During the ceremony, Governor Masari handed over the flag of the APC to candidates contesting for the governorship, Senatorial and federal constituencies in the state, urging them to campaign hard so that the APC maintains it hold on Katsina State and Nigeria.<\/p>\n

The gubernatorial candidate of the party, Dr Dikko Umar Radda, in his remarks solicited for the support of the people of Katsina State and vote for him and the candidates presented by the APC at all levels.<\/p>\n

\n
\n
Dr Dikko acknowledged that the people of Katsina State have been giving APC the support it requires because of trust and confidence thay have in its policies and programmes and the quality leadership it offers in dealing the the challenges militating against development efforts.<\/p>\n

He pledged to offer quality leadership that will give citizens the opportunity to realise their aspirations in the field of their choice within the available windows of opportunities and creation if more windows especially for the youth and women.<\/p>\n

\n
The turnout at the event was a testimony that the future of the APC in Katsina and Nigeria is brighter and better.<\/p>\n
Dr Radda promised an improved security. education, agriculture job creation among others as his top priorities believing that improvement on those aspects will transform Katsina State tremendously.<\/p>\n
In his address, the APC chairman in Katsina State Alhaji Sani Aliyu Daura said that the APC for successful outing the forthcoming general elections and expressed appreciations to all that graced flag off.<\/p>\n

The host of the event, Hon. Hamza Sulaiman Faskari, the coomissioner of environment in passing vote of thanks expressed the honour done to Faskari Local Government in hosting the flag off, which indicated that Faskari is home to APC.<\/p>\n

\n
Recall that the APC occupies all elective positions in the state. The opposition party has no single councillor, no council chairman, no single member in the state house of assembly, Federal House of Representatives and Senate.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
