The Chairman of the All Progressive Congress, APC Kaduna State Chapter, Mr. Emmanuel Jakada has said that the suspension of the senator representing Kaduna Central, Senator Shehu Sani is unconstitutional.<\/p>\n
A serving senator he maintained cannot be suspended on the pages of newspapers<\/p>\n
Earlier, a statement was signed \u00a0by \u00a0Ward Six Chairman, Ibrahim Salisu Togo, Tudun Wada North Chapter of APC insisting that their decision to suspend Senator Shehu Sani was based on the constitution of the party.<\/p>\n
\u201cWe, the Tudun Wada North, Ward Six Exco of the all Progressive Congress, APC in Kaduna South Local Government wish to affirm our decision on the indefinite suspension of Senator Shehu Sani\u201d<\/p>\n
The APC Chairman speaking via the telephone said; \u201cI am not around, I came for a programme in Jos.\u00a0 Look, suspension does not come from the pages of newspapers. However, at the local government, there must be a committee to find out the allegations. There are a lot of constitutional processes to be followed before you can pronounce somebody suspended.<\/p>\n
\u201cAs the Chairman, I have set up committee to reconcile the aggrieved members so I expected that \u00a0if there was any issue with any of the aggrieved member it is supposed to be directed to the reconciliation committee.<\/p>\n
