The Kano State Governor Dr.Abdullahi Umar Ganduje has commiserated with the Nigerian Police authorities over the fire Incident that gutted many offices at the State Police Command Headquarters on Sunday.<\/div>\n

This was contained in a statement signed by the Chief Press Secretary to the Deputy Governor of Kano State, Hassan Musa Fagge.<\/div>\n

Danguje, represented by his deputy, and Gubernatorial Candidate of the All Progressive party, Dr.Nasiru Yusuf Gawuna visited the Police Headquarters in Bompai Area to ascertain the level of damage.<\/p>\n

\u00a0While expressing sadness over the\u00a0 incidence which he had described as an act of God, he said.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe were shocked when we received the sad news of the fire disaster.\u00a0 We are here to commiserate with you on behalf of the Government and People of Kano State\u201d.<\/div>\n

He urged that preventive measures be put in place to prevent future occurrence of the incident.<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
The governor while appreciating the efforts of the Fire Service for putting out the fire had assured them of government support as he prayed for non re – occurrence of such catastrophy.<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
The State Commissioner of Police Alh.Mamman Dauda thanking the state government for its concern over the inferno said they were in the office when the fire started.<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
Investigation he said is on going to ascertain the cause of the fire outbreak.<\/div>\n
Most importantly is that, \u201cThere was no loss of life\u201d.<\/div>\n
