As the wind of defection continues to blow, the Deputy Speaker Kaduna State House of Assembly, Honourable John Audu Kwaturu on Friday dumped the ruling party, All Progressives Congress, APC over what he termed \u201cImpunity\u201d.<\/p>\n
Reason given by the lawmaker representing Kachia Constituency in the State Assembly being that of APC not only has it failed but has failed his Southern Kaduna people.<\/p>\n
The Deputy Speaker who confirmed the development via Telephone to Newsreservoir said he cannot continue to remain in a party that has failed to recognize due process.<\/p>\n
The lawmaker argued that, \u201cThe ideology of fairness, equity and justice no longer exist in APC and that is why I had quit \u201c<\/p>\n
According to him, before his action, he had made consultations.<\/p>\n
\u201cBut before I quit, I did communicate and discussed with the Deputy Governor, Architect Bala Bantex and other party stakeholders within my Kachia local government area.<\/p>\n
\u201cI decide to dump the party alongside thousands of my supporters including my Ward Chairman.\u201d<\/p>\n
\u201d I see no reason I should remain in a party where my interest is not protected\u201d.<\/p>\n
