Dr. Dikko Umar Radda is the gubernatorial candidate of the All Progressives Congress, APC in Katsina State.<\/p>\n

\n
As part of his plan to better the lives of the people, he has promised to establish an agricultural processing centre in Dandume Local Government Area of the state.<\/p>\n
\n
\n
\n
He made the promise while addressing a mammoth crowd of supporters who grace his campaign rally in Dandume, Tuesday.<\/p>\n
\n
\n
\n
The Director, Media and Publicity of APC campaign council, Alhaji Ahmed Abdulkadir,\u00a0 stated this in a statement issued Wednesday in Katsina.<\/p>\n
\n
He said Radda told the supporters that he was aware that the people of the town were predominantly large scale farmers. Therefore, establishing a centre to process their products would not only preserve and save them from loss, but would also provide jobs for their unemployed youths.<\/p>\n
\n
\u201cHe also said that he would reintroduce extension services to enhance their farming activities.<\/p>\n
\n
\n
\u201c`The candidate, similarly, noted that what the people needed was mechanized and modern farming methods to boost agricultural activities in the area”.<\/p>\n
\n
