{"id":1467,"date":"2018-08-15T22:36:37","date_gmt":"2018-08-15T22:36:37","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/newsreservoir.com\/?p=1467"},"modified":"2018-08-15T22:42:47","modified_gmt":"2018-08-15T22:42:47","slug":"1467-2","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/newsreservoir.com\/?p=1467","title":{"rendered":"Victims of Zamfara Attacks Receive FG\u2019s Relief Materials"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Victims of Zamfara Attacks Receive FG\u2019s Relief Materials<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Zainab Tanimu<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Kaduna, North-West NIGERIA<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Federal Government has presented to Zamfara state Government relief materials to cushion the effect on victims of the recent attacks by unknown gunmen on some communities in the state.<\/p>\n<p>The Acting President and the Chairman National Emergency Management Agency Governing Council, Professor Yemi Osinbajo on behalf of the federal government presented the relief support to the Zamfara State Governor, AbdulAziz Yari.<\/p>\n<p>Professor Osibanjo was accompanied by some top government officials and NEMA\u2019s Director General, Engr. Mustapha Yunusa Maihaja, who was represented by the agency\u2019s Director Search and Rescue, Air Commodore Iyamu were to Talatan Mafara Local Government Area for the formal presentation.<\/p>\n<p>Governor Yari commended the federal government for its gesture which he described as timely and prompt. \u00a0Zamfara State Management Agency (ZEMA) in collaboration with authorities from the affected places he said \u00a0already had put in place necessary machinery to ensure proper distributions of the items to the victims.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-1469\" src=\"http:\/\/newsreservoir.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/08\/zamfara-attack-relief-material-2-300x150.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"496\" height=\"248\" srcset=\"https:\/\/newsreservoir.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/08\/zamfara-attack-relief-material-2-300x150.jpg 300w, https:\/\/newsreservoir.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/08\/zamfara-attack-relief-material-2-768x384.jpg 768w, https:\/\/newsreservoir.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/08\/zamfara-attack-relief-material-2-600x300.jpg 600w, https:\/\/newsreservoir.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/08\/zamfara-attack-relief-material-2.jpg 816w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 496px) 100vw, 496px\" \/>\u00a0 <img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-1468\" src=\"http:\/\/newsreservoir.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/08\/Zamfara-attack-relief-material-300x224.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"329\" height=\"245\" srcset=\"https:\/\/newsreservoir.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/08\/Zamfara-attack-relief-material-300x224.jpg 300w, https:\/\/newsreservoir.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/08\/Zamfara-attack-relief-material-600x448.jpg 600w, https:\/\/newsreservoir.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/08\/Zamfara-attack-relief-material.jpg 616w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 329px) 100vw, 329px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Relief Materials donated are 1200 bags of rice, 300 bags of beans, 300 bags of maize, 300 kegs of vegetable oil, 1500 cartons of tomatoes, 1500 pieces each of men, women and children clothing, 1000 bundles each of wax and brocades, the rest are 1000 pieces of mattresses, 2500 pieces of blankets, 2000 pieces of mosquitoes nets, 1000 pieces of nylon mats and 200 cartons of toilet soap.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Head Nema Sokoto Operations Office, Mal.
