{"id":16151,"date":"2023-06-05T21:53:22","date_gmt":"2023-06-05T21:53:22","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/newsreservoir.com\/?p=16151"},"modified":"2023-06-05T21:53:22","modified_gmt":"2023-06-05T21:53:22","slug":"fuel-subsidy-civil-servants-in-kwara-state-to-work-3days-per-week","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/newsreservoir.com\/?p=16151","title":{"rendered":"Fuel Subsidy: Civil Servants in Kwara State to Work 3days Per Week"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Fuel Subsidy: Civil Servants in Kwara State to Work 3days Per Week<\/p>\n<p>The Kwara State Government, following the astronomical hike in transport fare<br \/>\ndue to the removal of fuel subsidy,has taken a temporary measure to ease the burden of public workers cause by the removal of fuel subsidy.<\/p>\n<p>The State Head of Service, Mrs Susan Modupe Oluwole announced today that the State Governor, Mallam Abdulrahman Abdulrazak has directed that the work days be reduced from five days to three days per week for every worker.<\/p>\n<p>She explained that the measure was to relieve the state workers of the hardship being experienced as a result of the fuel subsidy removal announced by the Federal Government.<\/p>\n<p>Mrs Oluwole directed all Heads of Ministries,Departments and Agencies (MDAs) in the State to immediately work out a format indicating the alternating work days for each worker under them.<\/p>\n<p>The Head of Service however, warned the workers not to abuse the magnanimity of the Governor, stressing that the regular monitoring of MDAs by her office would be intensified to ensure strict compliance<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Fuel Subsidy: Civil Servants in Kwara State to Work 3days Per Week The Kwara State Government, following the astronomical hike in transport fare due to the removal of fuel subsidy,has taken a temporary measure to ease the burden of public workers cause by the removal of fuel subsidy.
