The aggrieved Aspirants and Stakeholders Forum under the platform of All Progressives Congress, APC, in Kaduna State have called for the dissolution of the Kaduna state Executives.<\/p>\n
This call was made during a press conference held at the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ) Secretariat Kaduna on Tuesday.<\/p>\n
The forum which complained of lack of fairness on the part of the people on the choice of the state Governor, Nasir El-Rufai’s intention to use the indirect primaries in the state has in a strong message of rejection to the leadership of the party read on behalf of the forum by Hassan Danjuma Samdi, aspiring to represent Kaduna North Federal Constituency, stated its decision to boycott the primaries if the governor remains adamant on the use of the indirect primaries in the fort-coming election.<\/p>\n
An attention was drawn to the earlier written letter on the need to resolve the lingering issue in the state in order that Kaduna state can have a free and fair election which result it said is yet to be seen.<\/p>\n

H.E Adams Oshiomole<\/strong><\/p>\n National Chairman<\/p>\n All Progressives Congress<\/p>\n Blantyre Street<\/p>\n Wuse Abuja.<\/p>\n Your Excellency,<\/strong><\/p>\n \u00a0<\/strong>Notice of Rejection of the Purported Collective Decision of the <\/strong><\/p>\n State Executive Council Meeting of the APC Kaduna State <\/strong><\/p>\n and the <\/strong><\/p>\n Reiteration of our Support for Direct Primaries in Kaduna State.<\/strong><\/p>\n Your Excellency please kindly recall that recently the Kaduna State Chapter of our great Party, the All Progressives Congress (APC), held a State Executive Council (SEC) meeting to determine the preferred mode of nominating the Party\u2019s flag bearers in the forthcoming 2019 general elections.<\/p>\n Upon receiving the Party\u2019s invitation to the SEC meeting we honored the invitation with the earnest expectation that a robust engagement of the issues would take place and that, at the end of the day, superior reasoning and the interest of the Party would guide the final outcome of the deliberations.<\/p>\n Unsurprisingly however, and typical of the tyrannical way the affairs of the Party have been conducted in the state since 2015, the only opinion that was allowed expression at the event was that of the state government as presented by the Deputy Governor. Thereafter\u00a0 it was widely broadcasted that there was a \u2018collective decision\u2019 from the said meeting adopting Indirect Primaries for Kaduna state.<\/p>\n Your Excellency this claim is false. The decision was not collective. And, what is worse, the process that led to it was anything but consultative. Consequently, we, the teaming members of the APC under the aegis of the Kaduna State Aspirants and Stakeholders Forum, reject this so called \u2018collective decision\u2019 for what it is: the orchestrated outcome of yet another sham Party process.<\/p>\n Your Excellency, we remain resolutely committed to Direct Primaries as the most efficacious mode of determining and throwing up our best candidates to spar against those of the opposition parties for the Gubernatorial and Legislative positions in Kaduna state.
