Governor Mai Mala Buni gave this order<\/p>\n
shortly after presiding over the swearing-in of nine newly appointed permanent secretaries into the state civil service.<\/p>\n

Government vehicles he said should be strictly used for government assignments, while ordering that Secretary to the State Government, Head of Service, and Permanent Secretaries\u00a0 ensure that public officers comply with his directive.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe conversion of government vehicles and facilities to personal use and services at the expense of government work is hereby banned,\u201d he declared.<\/p>\n
