To this effect,\u00a0 Governor Dauda\u00a0 Lawal has given\u00a0 a shoot at sight order on perpetrators as a means of curbing the menace.<\/div>\n

This was disclosed on Saturday in a statement\u00a0 by his spokesperson, Suleiman Bala Idris who said the measure was to protect the safety and well being of the people.<\/div>\n

“According to the statement,<\/div>\n

\u201cIllegal mining is undeniably one of the driving forces behind the rampant banditry plaguing Zamfara State. We must take swift, decisive action to curb this menace and restore peace and security to our communities.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cThe directive is necessary to ensure the safety and security of the good people of Zamfara and deter potential wrongdoers from committing such acts.<\/div>\n
