{"id":17551,"date":"2023-10-19T22:43:41","date_gmt":"2023-10-19T22:43:41","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/newsreservoir.com\/?p=17551"},"modified":"2023-10-19T22:43:41","modified_gmt":"2023-10-19T22:43:41","slug":"tinubu-appoints-olasupo-olusi-new-bank-of-industry-chief-executive-officer","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/newsreservoir.com\/?p=17551","title":{"rendered":"TINUBU APPOINTS\u00a0 OLASUPO OLUSI NEW BANK OF INDUSTRY CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER"},"content":{"rendered":"<p dir=\"auto\">\n<p dir=\"auto\">TINUBU APPOINTS\u00a0 OLASUPO OLUSI<\/p>\n<p dir=\"auto\">NEW BANK OF INDUSTRY CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER<\/p>\n<p dir=\"auto\">\n<p dir=\"auto\">\n<p dir=\"auto\">\n<p dir=\"auto\">\n<p dir=\"auto\">Zainab Tanimu<\/p>\n<p dir=\"auto\">\n<p dir=\"auto\">\n<p dir=\"auto\">\n<p dir=\"auto\">\n<p dir=\"auto\">Kaduna, Northwest Nigeria<\/p>\n<p dir=\"auto\">\n<p dir=\"auto\">\n<p dir=\"auto\">\n<p dir=\"auto\">\n<p dir=\"auto\">\n<p dir=\"auto\">President Bola Tinubu has approved the appointment of Dr. Olasupo Olusi to serve as the Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of the Bank of Industry (BOI) for a term of four (4) years in the first instance.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"auto\">\n<p dir=\"auto\">\n<p dir=\"auto\">\n<p dir=\"auto\">\n<p dir=\"auto\">\n<p dir=\"auto\">\n<p dir=\"auto\">\n<div dir=\"auto\">According to a statement issued by the<\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\">\n<div dir=\"auto\">Special Adviser to the President<\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\">(Media &amp; Publicity), Chief Ajuri Ngelale<\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\">\u00a0dated October 19, 2023,<\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\"><\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\"><\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\"><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p dir=\"auto\">\n<p dir=\"auto\">\n<p dir=\"auto\">\n<p dir=\"auto\">&#8220;The President&#8217;s approval of Dr. Olusi&#8217;s appointment follows the voluntary resignation of former BOI Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer, Mr. Olukayode Pitan.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"auto\">\n<p dir=\"auto\">\n<p dir=\"auto\">\n<p dir=\"auto\">\n<p dir=\"auto\">\n<div dir=\"auto\"><\/div>\n<p dir=\"auto\">\n<p dir=\"auto\">&#8220;Dr. Olasupo Olusi has served as a World Bank economist and development finance expert over the past 20 years. Between 2011 and 2015, Dr. Olusi served as the economic adviser to then Coordinating Minister of the Economy and Minister of Finance. He is an alumnus of Hull University, United Kingdom.
