Honourable Abdullahi Usman Tumburkai, has been nominated as the Chairman of the People\u2019s Democratic Party Candidates Forum for the upcoming Local Governments Election in Katsina State.<\/p>\n

A statement dated 12\/08\/2024, sighed by the Public Relations Officer, Hon.<\/div>\n

Hamisu Ismail Jibia revealed this.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

As Chairman, the dedicated community leader and trained journalist from Dandume Local Government will oversee the forum\u2019s initiatives aimed at enhancing transparency and accessibility in the electoral process.<\/p>\n

This esteemed position the statement added, “reflects Abdullahi\u2019s commitment to fostering democratic engagement and providing a platform for party candidates to connect with voters.<\/p>\n

The nomination took place at the party’s Secretariat in Katsina, where the 34 elected party candidates gathered on Sunday 11\/08\/2024.<\/p>\n

“The Party Candidates Forum serves as a vital resource for candidates to discuss their platforms, engage with constituents, and collaborate on issues that matter most to the community.<\/p>\n

Honourable Abdullahi Tumburkai appreciating the party,<\/p>\n

\u201cI am honored to be nominated as Chairman of the PDP Candidates Forum,\u201d said Abdullahi. \u201cThis role is an incredible opportunity to bring together diverse voices and ensure that all candidates have the chance to share their visions for our future. I am committed to creating an inclusive environment where voters can make informed decisions.\u201d<\/p>\n

“Honourable Tumburkai has a long history of involvement in politics making him well-suited to lead the forum. His experience and passion for public service will be instrumental in guiding candidates through the electoral process.<\/p>\n

“The PDP Candidates Forum is planning a series of events before the upcoming elections, which will include town hall meetings and opportunities for voters to meet the candidates. These events will provide voters with the opportunity to hear directly from candidates and engage in meaningful discussions about the issues that affect their lives.<\/p>\n

“The PDP has produced candidates who are well-regarded within the party and have a significant impact on Katsina politics. We believe all the candidates will emerge victorious in the next upcoming Local Government elections in Katsina State.<\/p>\n
