NSIPA disburses over N10 billion to\u00a0 411,292 beneficiaries<\/p>\n
The National Social Investment Programme Agency (NSIPA), has disbursed the sum of over N10 billion to\u00a0 411,292 Beneficiaries under the National Cash Transfer Office (NCTO)<\/p>\n
The disbursement was made\u00a0 across the 36 States and FCT under the Renewed Hope Conditional Cash Transfer (RH-CCT) of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, Commander in-chief of the Nigerian Armed Forces.<\/p>\n
This was disclosed by the National Coordinator\/CEO, National Social Investment Programme Agency, Associate Professor Badamasi Lawal\u00a0 in a release dated October 18, 2024.<\/p>\n
He said the funds is the second tranche of payments made directly to beneficiaries\u2019 bank accounts nationwide.<\/p>\n
According to him, the Renewed Hope Conditional Cash Transfer, RH-CCT, under the National Cash Transfer Office is aimed to cushion the economic hardships of the beneficiaries who are mostly the poor and vulnerable.<\/p>\n
\u201cIt is part of Mr. President\u2019s Renewed Hope Agenda aimed at alleviating Poverty and improving the livelihoods of poor and vulnerable Nigerians.<\/p>\n
