Katsina: LG Workers, pensioners to enjoy monthly benefits every 25th<\/p>\n

Workers and Pensioners under the Ministry for Local Government and Emirate Affairs in Katsina State have been assured\u00a0 continuous payments of their benefits unfailingly every 25th of the month.<\/p>\n
The pledge was made by Alhaji Bishir Tanimu the supervising commissioner of the ministry while releasing October salaries for L G staff, primary\u00a0 schools teachers and pensioners.<\/p>\n
Similarly, Pensioners that have not enjoyed their September pension have also been settled and settlement of gratuity is continuously being paid as mandated by the the state governor.<\/p>\n
This is the second month since his assumption of duty as Supervising Commissioner of the Ministry, LG staff\u00a0 and pensioners receive their benefits on the 25th day of every month which is unprecedented.<\/p>\n
In an interview with journalists, the commissioner said he claimed to sympathise with LG staff and pensioners for not being paid their monthly emoluments as at when due.<\/p>\n
Alhaji Bishir Tanimu explained that the problem in the payment of salaries and pension had already been tracked and solved.<\/p>\n
He said by the grace of Allah SWT the exercise will continue to stay every month as data and other information regarding the exercise will continue to be ready in preparation for the payment of staff salaries and pension.<\/p>\n
He therefore enjoined LG Staff to always be faithful in reporting to their places of assignment.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
