The Kaduna State Commissioner, Ministry of Human Services and Social Development, hajiya Rabi Salisu yesterday at the State House of Assembly presented her Ministry’s budget for the 2025 fiscal year.<\/div>\n

Out of the total draft budget estimate of N790 billon, N553 billion (70%) is for Capital Expenditure, while N237 billion (30%) is for Recurrent Expenditure.<\/div>\n

Under identified key sectors, education sector has the highest budget allocation of N206.6 billion.<\/div>\n

In her presentation,<\/div>\n

“The 2025 Budget is a product of intensive and extensive consultations with stakeholders in Kaduna State. We engaged widely with the people to ensure that the budget reflects their aspirations, addresses their concerns, and lays a solid foundation for long-term development.<\/p>\n

“The 2025 Budget proposal prioritizes critical sectors such as infrastructure, human capital development, security, and agriculture.<\/p>\n

“Given the current economic challenges, it is imperative that we adopt a conservative but strategic approach to resource allocation.<\/p>\n

“In the 2025 Budget, we have prioritized some key sectors. Education has been allocated the lion share of the budget, N206.6 billion (26.14%), Health N127 billion (16.07%), Infrastructure. She stated.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
