A hadith (saying of the Prophet Muhammad) states that fasting Ramadan and then following it with six days of Shawwal is as if one has fasted the entire year.<\/p>\n

Abu Ayyub (may Allah be pleased with him) reported that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: \u201cWhoever fasts Ramadan and follows it with six days of Shawwal , it will be as if he fasted for a lifetime.\u201d<\/p>\n

Shawwal is a time for Muslims to reflect on their spiritual journey during Ramadan, renew their commitment to faith, and strive to uphold the values cultivated during the holy month.<\/p>\n
