Barau Jibrin Mourns Sheikh Dahiru Bauchi, Describes His Death as lrreplaceable Loss<\/p>\n

Deputy President of the Senate Senator Barau l. Jibrin,\u00a0has expressed deep sorrow over the death of renowned Islamic scholar, Sheikh Dahiru Usman Bauchi,\u00a0who passed away in the early hours of Thursday.<\/p>\n
In a statement issued by his Special Adviser on Media and Publicity Alhaji Ismail Mudashir,\u00a0Senator Barau said the passing of the revered scholar leaves\u00a0\u201ca huge vacuum that will be difficult to fill.\u201d<\/em>\u00a0He praised Sheikh Dahiru Bauchi\u2019s lifelong dedication to Islam, humanity, and the global Muslim community.<\/p>\n The Senator noted that the late spiritual leader touched millions of lives through his preaching, scholarship, and guidance. Barau highlighted Sheikh Dahiru Bauchi\u2019s steadfast commitment to Qur\u2019anic teaching, his leadership of the Tijaniyya movement, and his efforts in establishing Qur\u2019anic schools and humanitarian programmes, describing them as contributions that shaped generations.<\/p>\n \u201cHe was more than a scholar; he was a father, teacher, and guide to millions,\u201d<\/em>\u00a0he added.<\/p>\n Senator Barau, who also serves as First Deputy Speaker of the ECOWAS Parliament, extended condolences to the scholar\u2019s family, students, the Muslim Ummah, and all who benefited from his spiritual leadership.
