Ultimate Care Foundation Empowers Widows, Orphans with Grinding Machines, Puts Smiles on Beneficiaries\u2019 Faces, Promotes Economic Self-Reliance<\/strong><\/p>\n

Kaduna, Northwest Nigeria<\/strong><\/p>\n

Joy and gratitude filled the atmosphere in Kaduna as the Ultimate Care Foundation (UCF) empowered vulnerable members of society by distributing brand-new grinding machines to beneficiaries, most of whom were widows and orphans drawn from various Muslim organisations.<\/p>\n

The intervention, which put smiles on the faces of beneficiaries, was aimed at promoting economic self-reliance and sustainable livelihoods. It is the third major empowerment programme organised by the foundation, following previous interventions including the distribution of refrigerators to less-privileged families.<\/p>\n

Speaking at the event, the Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Ultimate Care Foundation,\u00a0Alhaji Junaid Lawal<\/strong>, said the programme was designed to restore dignity and create lasting economic opportunities rather than provide temporary relief.<\/p>\n

“Today’s event is not merely about the distribution of equipment. It is about restoring dignity, creating opportunities, strengthening livelihoods and empowering individuals to become economically self-reliant. It is about transforming lives through practical and sustainable intervention.”<\/p>\n

According to him, the foundation believes that genuine charity should create pathways to lasting economic independence.<\/p>\n

“At Ultimate Care Foundation, we firmly believe that charity should not only provide temporary relief but should also create pathways to lasting economic independence. This philosophy is deeply rooted in our commitment to alleviating hardship, empowering vulnerable populations and fostering sustainable community development.”<\/p>\n

Quoting\u00a0Surah Al-Baqarah (2:261)<\/strong>, Lawal encouraged wealthy Muslims to support humanitarian causes, noting that the grinding machines were donated by an anonymous benefactor seeking only Allah’s pleasure.<\/p>\n

“A generous brother, who has chosen to remain anonymous solely for the pleasure of Allah, made this noble intervention possible through the donation of these grinding machines. His desire is not recognition from mankind but reward from Almighty Allah.”<\/p>\n

He prayed for Allah’s abundant blessings upon the donor while urging other well-to-do Muslims and Nigerians to emulate such acts of generosity.<\/p>\n

Addressing journalists after the event, Lawal explained that the majority of beneficiaries were widows nominated through recognised Islamic organisations to ensure transparency and fairness.<\/p>\n

“Most of the beneficiaries today are widows from various Muslim organisations. We deliberately worked through these organisations because we wanted deserving widows and orphans to benefit. Only one mosque, the Federal Government College Mosque, was included in today’s exercise.”<\/p>\n

He disclosed that Ultimate Care Foundation was established by leading members of the Muslim Intellectuals of Nigeria, where he currently serves as the National Amir.<\/p>\n

Lawal said the foundation initially focused on welfare and mental health awareness in partnership with an international non-governmental organisation before establishing its own independent humanitarian platform.<\/p>\n

He assured that the foundation would continue monitoring beneficiaries through the nominating organisations to ensure the machines are properly utilised for income generation.<\/p>\n

Encouraging beneficiaries, he described the grinding machines as tools for economic transformation rather than mere gifts.<\/p>\n

“These machines are not merely gifts; they are tools of empowerment and instruments of economic transformation. We encourage you to utilise them diligently, responsibly and productively so they become sources of lawful income, vehicles for family support and foundations for brighter futures for yourselves and your children.”<\/p>\n

He further reminded beneficiaries of the Prophet Muhammad’s (SAW) teaching on the dignity of self-reliance, stressing that productive engagement remains one of Islam’s enduring values.<\/p>\n

Lawal also commended the trainers, facilitators and volunteers who equipped beneficiaries with the knowledge required for the safe operation and maintenance of the machines.<\/p>\n

He appreciated the various Islamic organisations and community groups that identified deserving beneficiaries and praised NASFAT Kaduna Branch for providing the venue and supporting the successful hosting of the programme.<\/p>\n

He also called on religious leaders to continue promoting compassion, economic empowerment and practical interventions capable of reducing poverty within communities.<\/p>\n

“Our communities need more than words of sympathy; they need practical interventions that uplift lives and reduce poverty.”<\/p>\n

Lawal further appealed to media organisations to continue highlighting humanitarian initiatives capable of inspiring more individuals and organisations to support the less privileged.<\/p>\n

Several beneficiaries expressed appreciation for the life-changing intervention.<\/p>\n

Representing one of the beneficiaries,\u00a0Hajiya Rabi<\/strong>, a NASFAT member, thanked Almighty Allah and the Ultimate Care Foundation for the empowerment, praying for greater blessings upon the donor and the organisers.<\/p>\n

Another beneficiary,\u00a0Hajiya Binta Abdulazeez<\/strong>\u00a0of the Muslim Council Kaduna, described the gesture as timely and impactful.<\/p>\n

“We are grateful to them. May Almighty Allah reward them abundantly.”<\/p>\n

Also speaking,\u00a0Hajiya Amina Kazeem<\/strong>, another beneficiary from the Muslim Council Kaduna, could not hide her joy.<\/p>\n

“I thank Allah for what He has done for me. Alhamdulillah! May Allah reward them abundantly.”<\/p>\n

The event was chaired by the M.D. SciTech Engineering Limited, Kaduna,\u00a0Engr. Shittu Mudashir<\/strong>\u00a0and attracted religious leaders as well as representatives of community-based and faith-based organisations.<\/p>\n

Speaking, the M.D. appreciated the anonymous donor while urging others to emulate the good work of the foundation.<\/p>\n

“I want to appreciate the anonymous donor of these grinding machines.This is highly commendable.<\/div>\n

“We want to use this opportunity to appeal to our community members, private entities and governmental organizations\u00a0 to follow the foot-step of ‘Ultimate Care Foundation’ in order to contribute in reducing poverty in our land.<\/div>\n
