Hon. Ahmad Rufai Leads Kajuru Community’s Appeal to Gov. Uba Sani for New Road to Boost Economy, Security<\/p>\n

A prominent community leader and traditional titleholder in Kajuru Local Government Area, Hon. Ahmad Rufai Abdulmumini (Walin Kajuru), has led a passionate appeal to Kaduna State Governor, Senator Uba Sani, to approve the construction of a new road linking Maraban Kajuru, Kajuru Town, Buda and Maraban Rido, describing the project as critical to unlocking the area’s economic potential and improving security.<\/div>\n

Hon. Rufai made the appeal through his Special Assistant, Aminu Iliyasu, who conveyed the community leader’s message to the public and the government.<\/p>\n

Unlike existing dilapidated routes, this proposed road is a completely new infrastructure project that residents believe will serve as a game-changer for the entire Kajuru LGA\u2014opening up access to previously underserved communities and creating a direct link between rural farmlands and commercial hubs.<\/p>\n

Speaking on behalf of his people through his aide, Hon. Rufai expressed deep confidence in the Governor’s commitment to inclusive development, pointing to ongoing projects across the state as evidence of a responsive and people-focused administration. He noted that Kajuru LGA, despite its agricultural potential and strategic location, has long been overlooked in terms of modern road networks and the time for change is now.<\/p>\n

“This new road is not a luxury it is a necessity,” Hon. Rufai stated via his Special Assistant, Aminu Iliyasu. “It will enable our farmers to transport cash crops and food produce to urban markets with ease, reduce transportation costs, and attract investors to our local government. More importantly, it will enhance security by providing access routes for security agencies to patrol remote communities and respond swiftly to emergencies.”<\/p>\n

The Walin Kajuru also praised Governor Uba Sani for his listening ear and track record of delivering people-oriented projects, stressing that the people of Kajuru LGA remain steadfast in their support for the administration.<\/p>\n

“Governor Uba Sani has proven time and again that he is a leader who hears the cries of his people. We trust that he will give this request the urgent attention it deserves,” the statement added.<\/p>\n

As Kaduna State continues to witness rapid infrastructural transformation, the Kajuru community is hopeful that this new road project will be included in the next phase of government interventions bridging the gap between rural agrarian communities and the state’s broader development agenda.<\/p>\n

Residents and stakeholders believe the proposed road would serve as a major catalyst for development by opening up rural communities, easing the movement of agricultural produce and strengthening security across the area. Although the Kaduna State Government is yet to officially respond to the request, the Kajuru community remains hopeful that the project will be considered in the next phase of the state’s infrastructure development plans.<\/div>\n
