{"id":3089,"date":"2019-08-22T23:00:21","date_gmt":"2019-08-22T23:00:21","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/newsreservoir.com\/?p=3089"},"modified":"2019-08-22T23:06:34","modified_gmt":"2019-08-22T23:06:34","slug":"nvbf-president-nimrod-reassures-determination-in-taking-volleyball-to-greater-heights-donates-kits-to-north-west-states","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/newsreservoir.com\/?p=3089","title":{"rendered":"NVBF President Nimrod Reassures Determination in Taking Volleyball to Greater Heights  &#8230; Donates Kits to North-West States"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">NVBF President Nimrod Reassures Determination in Taking Volleyball to Greater Heights<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">&#8230; Donates Kits to North-West States<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Zainab Tanimu<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Kaduna,\u00a0 North-West,\u00a0 Nigeria<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The\u00a0President Nigeria Volleyball Federation (NVBF) Engineer Musa Nimrod has assured his continuous support to states in order that they can have formidable team that can take the nation to greater heights.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">He made this known at the just concluded\u00a0Zonal elimination for team events preparatory to the National Youth Games (NYG) scheduled to hold in\u00a0 Ilorin Kwara State.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Engineer Nimrod while presenting donated items comprising five indoor volleyballs, 2 beach volleyballs and a net to each of the North west States as part of efforts to<\/p>\n<p><em><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-3093\" src=\"http:\/\/newsreservoir.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/08\/kaduna-team-300x225.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"225\" srcset=\"https:\/\/newsreservoir.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/08\/kaduna-team-300x225.jpg 300w, https:\/\/newsreservoir.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/08\/kaduna-team-600x450.jpg 600w, https:\/\/newsreservoir.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/08\/kaduna-team.jpg 605w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/em><\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">encourage volleyball at the grassroot level had stressed on the need for the various representatives of the states to encourage the game of volleyball in their respective states.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">He expressed satisfaction with the way and manner the game of volleyball is progressing in the country and with Nigeria\u2019s teams making the country proud in international competitions.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">He also noted that,\u00a0 ahead of the National Youth Games, he will always support the Ministry and also assist the technical Officials, while stressing that monitoring of the programme as the the major challenge facing volleyball in the country.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Responding in appreciation, the Zonal Coordinator Northwest Zone, Mr Olusola Luke commended the NVBF President for his continuous support to the Zone and numerous financial and moral support for sports development within the zone and the country at large.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">He prayed God to continue to bless his efforts now and always.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">He urged the representatives of the states who benefited from Engineer Nimrod\u2019s magnanimity to make judicious use of the items to develop the game of volleyball in their states.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The event took place at the Ahmadu Bello\u00a0 Stadium\u00a0 Kaduna<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>NVBF President Nimrod Reassures Determination in Taking Volleyball to Greater Heights &#8230; Donates Kits to North-West States Zainab Tanimu Kaduna,\u00a0 North-West,\u00a0 Nigeria The\u00a0President Nigeria Volleyball Federation (NVBF) Engineer Musa Nimrod has assured his continuous support to states in order that they can have formidable team that can take the nation to greater heights.
