The Governor of Plateau State, Barrister Solomon Bako Lalong has commended Plateau State Indigenes resident in Kaduna State for their spirit of oneness as that would help in promoting\u00a0 peaceful coexistence among the people in the state.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Governor Lalong spoke through the State\u2019s Liaison Officer in Kaduna, Mr Joshua Atunkara, at the swearing in and inauguration ceremony of the new officers of Plateau State Communities Development Association which took place at its Kaduna state headquarters, November 17, 2019.<\/strong><\/div>\n
The Governor who congratulated the new Executive Officers of the association, said, \u201cToday marks another indelible epoch making event in the lives of the people of Plateau State living in Kaduna. I wish therefore to extend the congratulatory message of His Excellency, the Executive Governor, Rt Hon Dr Simon Bako Lalong Esq to the outgone executive committee for the successful completion of their tenure and peaceful conduct of election that brought in the new Exco to office.<\/strong><\/div>\n
He said, \u201cIn the same vein I also congratulate the new Exco for coming on board and for accepting to pilot the affairs of our great association. I am particularly happy with your maturity and patriotism which was demonstrated during your election.<\/strong><\/div>\n
\u201cThere\u2019s no society that tribes in rancour and the general peace you maintained here in Kaduna is no doubt a clear demonstration of working in line with one and cardinal policy of the Governor Lalong\u2019s administration \u201cof peace and security.<\/strong><\/div>\n
\u201cI will not hesitate to state in clear terms that I commend the outgone Exco\u2019s efforts of their laudable achievements and of course they couldn\u2019t have made such achievements without your cooperation.<\/strong><\/div>\n
\u201cTherefore, with the same cooperation, if extended to the new Exco, they will make some reasonable achievements. He said.<\/strong><\/div>\n
He therefore assured the association support, saying, \u201cWe as Government, our door is open to give you our maximum cooperation. When the need arises do not hesitate to approach us.\u201d<\/strong><\/div>\n

Mangbit President, Malam Ahmadu Zailani Vice President, Nanle Nkwere Shangkop Secretary general, Albert Kwalkwap assistant General Secretary, Pam Huang Treasurer, Bulus Maze Gyang Financial Secretary, Luka K Bomboy assistant financial Secretary, Dauda<\/strong><\/div>\n
Ayiku Public Relations Officer, Baka Adamu Ease Assistant Public Relations Officer, Any K. Anusum Assistant Welfare Officer, Lawal Gambo Wase Chief Whip. Samaila Garba Organizing Secretary, Jon Zaka Jongshik Auditor I and Danladi Dashe Auditor II.<\/strong><\/div>\n
In his acceptance speech, the new President, John Mangbit thanked the members for electing him and his other officers and promised to build on the achievements of the past Exco while commending for bringing all Plateau State Indigenes together.<\/strong><\/div>\n
