Sports Writers Association of Nigeria, SWAN Kaduna State chapter has elected new leaders to steer the affairs of the Association in the next three years.<\/strong><\/p>\n

While taking oath of office on Tuesday morning at the secretariat of Nigeria Union of Journalists, NUJ\u00a0 Kaduna State Council, the elected members sworn as follow: ” that I shall not either through writing or by words or emotions, take actions that will bring disrepute to journalism profession.<\/strong><\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
” That I shall always abide and keep to the tenets and ethics of the journalism profession at all times and in all places”.<\/strong><\/div>\n

The Oath Administrator, Ibrahim Maji Esq, while administering the Oath on the elected members said the oath is to bear true <\/strong><\/div>\n
allegiance to the Statutes of the Sports Writers Association of Nigeria (SWAN) and as members of the Nigeria Union of Journalists.<\/strong><\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
In his inaugural speech, the newly elected chairman of Kaduna SWAN, Zango Jacob promised to reposition the Association for better than it used to be in the past.<\/strong><\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
While calling on all members of the Association to be more dedicated and be more focused, he said: our focus is to ensure that Kaduna SWAN and other relevant stakeholders are operating on the same page for the betterment of the industry”.<\/strong><\/div>\n
