Governor Aminu Waziri Tambuwal is now the new Chairman of the People\u2019s Democratic Party (PDP) governors forum.<\/strong><\/div>\n
Governor Tambuwal emerged the PDP Governors Chairman at the 88th NEC meeting of the opposition party held at the PDP National Secretariat, Wadata plaza, Abuja.<\/strong><\/div>\n
With this victory, Tambuwal therefore replaces Bayelsa State Governor, Seriake Dickson who\u00a0was conspicuously absent at the NEC meeting.<\/strong><\/div>\n
Dickson’s tenure will elapse on February 3. 2020.<\/strong><\/div>\n
Tambuwal emerged unopposed\u00a0as the PDP governors unanimously resolved and appointed him as their Chairman. There was no election as earlier speculated.\u00a0\u00a0<\/strong><\/div>\n
