Governor of Borno, Babagana Umara Zulum on Sunday directly supervised the distribution of relief items to the Nigerian <\/strong><\/div>\n

refugees in Diffa, Niger Republic.\u00a0<\/strong><\/div>\n
The Governor departed Maiduguri on Saturday for Malamfatori, Abadam Local Government Headquarters. <\/strong><\/div>\n
From there Zulum proceeded to Difa where he met several refugees who are <\/strong><\/div>\n
\"\"<\/div>\n
indigines of Borno.\u00a0<\/strong><\/div>\n
Zulum apart from supervising the distribution of relief items also held several meetings with the officials from the Government of Diffa towards improving the livelihood of the refugees.\u00a0<\/strong><\/div>\n
Diffa province presently houses over 120,000 refugees from four local government\u00a0 areas of Abadam, Mobar, Kukawa and Guzamala, all in Northern part of Borno state.\u00a0<\/strong><\/div>\n
About 30,000 men and women benefits, each of them received either a token amount of money, bags of the varieties food items and non food items.\u00a0<\/strong><\/div>\n

Items distributed include; bags of rice, bags of maize grain, cartons of cooking oil and wrappers. Each Male beneficiarie received; bag of rice, bag of maize grain and 3 liters of cooking oil, while female beneficiaries received cash and a wrapper each.\u00a0<\/strong><\/div>\n
Zulum also commended President Muhammadu Buhari, stating that thousands of bags of rice distributed were donations from the Federal Government through the Nigerian Customs Service.\u00a0<\/strong><\/div>\n
