{"id":4795,"date":"2020-03-11T05:50:08","date_gmt":"2020-03-11T05:50:08","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/newsreservoir.com\/?p=4795"},"modified":"2020-03-11T05:50:08","modified_gmt":"2020-03-11T05:50:08","slug":"the-villa-team-conducts-presentation-of-vertical-integrated-logistics-approach-to-coas","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/newsreservoir.com\/?p=4795","title":{"rendered":"The Villa Team\u2019 Conducts Presentation Of Vertical Integrated Logistics Approach To COAS."},"content":{"rendered":"<div dir=\"auto\"><strong>The Villa Team\u2019 Conducts Presentation Of Vertical Integrated Logistics Approach To COAS.<\/strong><\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\"><\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\"><strong>The Nigerian Army on Tuesday played host to a team, \u2018The Villa Team\u2019 comprising senior officers from Defence headquarters, Army headquarters, Naval headquarters and NAF headquarters as well as senior retired military officers who are facilitators, for a presentation on modern and real time logistics implementation for the armed forces.<\/strong><\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\"><\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\"><strong>Led by retired Major General John Samuel Zaruwa, the team made a presentation on the Vertically Integrated Logistics Approach for the military.<\/strong><\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\"><\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\"><strong>The research and experimentation resulting in the integrated approach according to the team, took about four years to arrive at.<\/strong><\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\"><\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\"><strong>Other members of the team include the Chief of Defence Logistics, Major General Sodunke, Major General Austin Okoh retired, Air Vice Marshal EO Anebi retired, Brigadier General Yusuf retired, Commodore SG Dogo among others.<\/strong><\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\"><\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\"><strong>Speaking at the presentation, the Chief of Army Staff, Lt. Gen. Tukur Yusuf Buratai who was represented by the Chief of Policy and Plans, Lt. Gen. LO Adeosun said the Integrated approach is meant to ensure that the armed forces logistics is improved upon for better military operational capabilities.<\/strong><\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\"><\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\"><strong>Present at the presentation were the Chief of Training and Operations, Major Gen Enobong Udoh, Chief of Standards and Evaluation, Major Gen Fidelis Azinta, Chief of Military Intelligence, Maj Gen SA Adebayo, Commander, Army headquarters Garrison, Maj Gen JGK Myan, Deputy Chief of Policy and Plans, Maj Gen Solomon Udoumwa, Director of Peacekeeping, Maj Gen Umelo, Special Adviser to COAS on Army University, Maj Gen CC Okonkwo and the Acting Provost Marshall, Nigerian Army, Brig Gen H Ahmed among other.<\/strong><\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Villa Team\u2019 Conducts Presentation Of Vertical Integrated Logistics Approach To COAS.
