\u00a0In continuation of its social responsibilities, the\u00a0Nigerian Breweries Plc this\u00a0 year collaborated with the\u00a0Nigeria Association of Women Journalists (NAWOJ) Kaduna State\u00a0Chapter to make\u00a0its International Women’s Day Celebration a success.\u00a0\u00a0<\/strong><\/div>\n
In its message, it charged the women to be self reliance as that will help boost their economic status.\u00a0<\/strong><\/div>\n

women journalists to\u00a0 learn different skills aside that of\u00a0 journalism profession as that will help to better their lots.\u00a0<\/strong><\/div>\n
While speaking on the drug abuse epidemic in the society among women,<\/strong><\/div>\n
\u00a0children and youths in the society, Yari\u00a0 called on parents to rise up to their responsibility by ensuring they monitor the kind of peer group their children associate with.<\/strong><\/div>\n
ln his contribution, Former Chairman Nigeria Union of Journalists Kaduna State Council,\u00a0Mr Andrew Fadason stressed on the need for peace while calling on the women to strive towards ensuring peace.<\/strong><\/div>\n
Peace he said is a necessity in all aspect of humanity.<\/strong><\/div>\n

\u201cWomen should be engaged in peace promotion, building harmonious relations and mutual respect among the diverse communities in the country.<\/strong><\/div>\n
“In any aspect where peace is missing, all other facets of development are lost.<\/strong><\/div>\n
\u201cThis is necessary so that peace will overtake current crisis, wars and conflicts the world is experiencing today, \u201d he stressed.<\/strong><\/div>\n
Commending NAWOJ for their efforts, the Chairman Nigeria Union of Journalists Kaduna State Council, Adamu Yusuf urged them not to relent in their bid towards injecting programmes that will help in enhancing the lives of the women.<\/strong><\/div>\n
The month of March he said is set aside for celebrating women as regards to their contribution for the Development of the country.<\/strong><\/div>\n

The Chairperson Kaduna State Chapter of NAWOJ Hajiya Fatima Aliyu said the state Nawoj is seeking collaboration with the 23 Local Government areas of the state to empower women with different skills that would benefit them in Kaduna.<\/strong><\/div>\n

The 2020 international women\u2019s day theme, which is \u201d Each for equal\u201d.<\/strong><\/div>\n
is celebrated on the 8th of March every year around the world. It is a focal point in the movement for women\u2019s rights.<\/strong><\/div>\n
