Abduction of Shehu Sani\u2019s Aide by Military men Unlawful —-Brother Cries Out<\/p>\n

The family of Bashir Ahmmed, has alleged the unlawful kidnap by Army personnel of their family member in Kaduna. Bashir Ahmmed popularly known as Hamadada is an aide to Senator Shehu Sani representing Kaduna Central at the Upper Chamber of the National Assembly.<\/p>\n
The alleged abduction was confirmed to news men during a press briefing at the Nigeria Union of Journalists Secretariat in Kaduna on Wednesday evening by one Mr. AbdulKareem Ahmmed, an elder brother to the victim.<\/p>\n
According to him, Bashir was abducted by some men dressed in Army cloth with Hilux vehicle and fully armed on the 8th<\/sup> of December, 2017 to unknown destination.<\/p>\n Narrating, he said, \u00a0\u201cafter six days of his abduction, that was on the 14 December, 2017, a call was made from the Nigerian Defense Academy, NDA that we should come for his release after he had been brutalized by the armed men.<\/p>\n \u201cAfter he was released to us, NDA could not give us reasonable reason for his abduction; they only told us that it was a mistake. It will interest you to know that after his release, this young innocent man was hospitalized at Jinya Specialist Hospital in Lafia Road for some days.<\/p>\n \u201cAs he was still nursing the pains and trauma of this unlawful treatment he received from these Army personnel, he was again abducted at the early hours of Tuesday morning by Military men, 20 men who came with three Hilux Vehicle and fully armed.<\/p>\n \u201cHe was dragged into their vehicle and taken to the 1 Division of the Nigerian Army, but as I am speaking with you now he is at the Police headquarter in Kaduna\u201d.<\/p>\n Although, Abdulkareem said that his brother has been alleged to have been involved in murder which according to him, the man was innocent and does not know anything about the allegation. He said the allegation is false and that it is a calculated attempt to silence the Special Adviser to Senator Shehu Sani on Youth and Religious matters.<\/p>\n He therefore called for his immediate release without any condition.
