    This, the Chairman of the Committee, Mr. Fatai Olayemi disclosed to Zainab Tanimu, of News reservoir.<\/div>\n
    <\/div>\n
    <\/div>\n
    According to the Chairman, the innitiative\u00a0is meant to\u00a0positively impact on the lives of the Muslims by giving them the opportunty to discover themselves and be self reliance.<\/div>\n
    <\/div>\n

    “The BUILD is a way of seeking<\/div>\n
    entrepreneurs and startups with innovative solutions, entrepreneurial mindset, can-do spirit and<\/div>\n
    a big idea or solution that has the potential to positively impact on Muslims, Muslim communities<\/div>\n
    and the world at large.<\/div>\n

    “It will be recalled that NASFAT in celebration of its 25 years anniversary launched the BUILD platform to create funding and mentoring opportunities for young Muslim entrepreneurs and<\/div>\n
    startups with innovative solutions aligned with the HELD agenda of the Society.”<\/div>\n

    The stage he said is set for the the 10 successful candidates who are going to battle for the\u00a0$10,000 prize come September 2020.<\/div>\n

    “The stage is set for 10 successful quarterfinalists to battle for $10,000 winner\u2019s prize in the maiden edition of the NASFAT BUILD (BUsiness Incubation LaunchpaD) Initiative.<\/div>\n
    <\/div>\n
    The 10 quarterfinalists, out of the many that submitted applicantions, in no particular order are:<\/div>\n
    <\/div>\n

    Explaining further,<\/div>\n
    <\/div>\n<\/div>\n

    The 10 quarterfinalists will undergo a virtual boot camp and showcase their solution before a virtual pitch event involving a judging panel made up of industry experts, leading to<\/div>\n
    announcement of winners in September 2020.<\/div>\n
    <\/div>\n
    The winning pitch will get a $10,000 investment from NASFAT, as well as potential investments by other angel investors, mentorship from renown entrepreneurs, industry linkages, access to experts, access into incubator\/accelerator hubs and accounting and legal support from the<\/div>\n
    NASFAT Secretariat for 12 months. He added.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
