Rt. Hon. Isa Muhammad Ashiru (Sarkin Bai Zazzau) joins well meaning Nigerians in calling on Federal Government and Kaduna State Government in particular to live up to their Cardinal Constitutional Responsibility of protecting lives and property of citizens.<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
In a press statement he personally signed, dated 9th August, 2020, Hon Ashiru described as worrisome the unending killings across the north.<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
“The wanton destruction of lives and property across the North, and especially Kaduna State is very disturbing.<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
“More worrisome is the creeping perception among the people that the\u00a0 government is either unwilling or incapable of ending the spate of killings.<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
“This perception MUST not be allowed to deep root.<\/div>\n
Government must do more to find a quick and lasting solution to the lingering insecurity across the North.<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
The statement further stressed that,<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
“The Kaduna State Government should heed to popular appeal and involve ALL stakeholders in the search for lasting peace in Southern Kaduna.<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
Challenging all stakeholders to rise up to the occasion, the statement added.<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
“On the otherhand, all stakeholders must embrace tolerance, compromise and also assist government to restore peace and stability, without which no meaningful development could be achieved.”<\/div>\n
