As Government Sets up Commissions of enquiry to investigate all SARS cases, the Nigeria Diaspora Network (NDN) an assocition of Nigerians living abroad has begun the collation of names of its members who have fallen victims of alleged brutality of the officers of disbanded Special Anti-Robbery Squad Unit of Nigerian police.<\/div>\n

This was contained in a statement issued in Abuja by its International Coordinator, Mr Samuel Atolaiye.<\/div>\n

<\/div>\n
The group he said would make strong representations for its victims in their\u00a0 various states now that state governments are beginning to\u00a0 sets up commission of enquiry to investigate all the cases .<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
Lamenting, he said the police unit put in place to protect citizens from terror and robbers are same unit that has become so powerful and are inflicting pains on citizens.<\/div>\n

<\/div>\n
More so, the unit is founded by tax players money.<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n

“The NDN is already working here to get a list of Nigerians who have gone home from here but fell victim of the SARS and we would make strong representations for them in their states now that the states are now setting up commissions of enquiry to investigate all the cases,\u201d he said.<\/div>\n

However, Atolaiye, has appealed to Nigerians to listen to President\u00a0 Muhammadu Buhari as he has promised to ensure that all those responsible for misconduct are brought to justice.<\/div>\n

This according to him is AQ no begining towards healing the wounds.<\/div>\n
He is one person who backed the support of the current agitation for a better policing<\/div>\n
