Widows, Orphans In Kaduna Smile Home As Celeb Danladi Foundation Distributes Food Items, Wrappers<\/h1>\n

A\u00a0 Non – Governmental Organization,\u00a0 (NGO), Caleb Danladi Foundation, has once again put smiles on the faces of widows and orphans in Kaduna.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

 <\/p>\n

Two hundred and thirty widows and 60 orphans in Kaduna benefited from the food items and wrapper distributions.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Mr Caleb Danladi, the Founder of the Foundation while fielding questions from newsmen in Abuja on Monday explained that the distribution was meant to\u00a0 cushion the effects the COVID-19 has on businesses, farming and economic status of the people.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

\u201cWe distributed different food items, 100 pieces of wrappers to 230 widows and 60 orphans. <\/p>\n

\u201cThis will alleviate the suffering caused by the COVID-19 pandemic especially on those making their living through daily earnings,\u2019\u2019 he said.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

According to him, the foundation plans to empower more women on agriculture and other vocational skills, as well as focus on assisting the less privileged persons in acquiring education.<\/p>\n

\u201cIn 2021, we are going to focus on women empowerment, child education and community development.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

\u201cIn the first quarter we intend to support 100 students with JAMB fee and to expand our computer training center to other locations.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

\u201cWe intend to support widows on Agriculture, sewing, and other vocational training.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

Danladi called on other philanthropists to continue to support government\u2019s efforts in providing for the needy in the society.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Distribution took place in Jaba and Jema\u2019a Local Government Areas of Kaduna state.<\/div>\n<\/article>\n
