Kaduna: Women Interfaith Condoles Ansar-ud-Deen Over The Demise Of Branch Chief Imam<\/div>\n

The Women Interfaith Council Kaduna state has visited Ansar-ud-Deen Society Kaduna Branch headquarters to commiserate with the members over the death of the branch Chief Imam, Alhaji Jamiu Salaudeen Folagboye.<\/div>\n

Alhaji Jamiu Salaudeen Folagboye died Friday night in Kaduna after a brief illness aged 75 and has been buried in his hometown, Aran Orin in Irepodun local government area of Kwara state according to Islamic rites. He was until his death the Chief Imam of Ansar-ud-Deen Society Kaduna branch and Deputy Chief Imam, Muslim Council of Nigeria, Kaduna state.<\/div>\n

The Women Interfaith Council Kaduna state delegation to Ansar-ud-Deen Society Kaduna branch composed of Muslims and Christians, attended the weekly general assalat and monthly Quranic recitation and special prayers at the Ekemode Hall.<\/div>\n

Speaking in their condolence message, leader of the delegation and Muslim Women Coordinator, Women Interfaith Council Kaduna state, Hajiya Daharatu Ahmed Aliyu said they were in Ansar-ud-Deen Kaduna branch to commiserate with the leadership and members of the Society over the death of the Chief Imam, whom she described as a gentle father to all.<\/div>\n

“We are here to commiserate with the entire Ansar-ud-Deen family on the demise of our Chief Imam with deep regret. We came together as one, Muslims and Christians to champion peace. May peace reign in our heart. It is when we are at peace with our neighbours that we can live a good life.<\/div>\n

“Baba Ansar-ud-Deen has been a peaceful father for all of us. May Aljannah Firdausi be his final abode. May Allah grant our late parents Aljannah Firdausi, aamin. How are we preparing ourselves? Are we remembering our neighbours while eating, do we care about their wellbeing and welfare? Let’s ponder over that,” she said.<\/div>\n

The Deputy Secretary Mission Board, Alhaji AbdulHakeem Jamiu Dere, who conducted the special prayers, thanked the visitors on behalf of Ansar-ud-Deen Society for their visit and good wishes. He prayed that peace will not depart from their house and their family and indeed among Nigerians.<\/div>\n
