SEEKING ALLAH’S FORGIVENESS IS THE ANSWER TO OUR PROBLEMS – NASFAT<\/p>\n

The need for attitudinal change has once again been stressed as a means to getting out of the numerous problems bedeviling our country.<\/div>\n
People have deviated from the straight part and now being visited by all manners of afflictions.<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n

There is need to seek Allah’s forgiveness in order that peace will reign.<\/div>\n
This was the message of the sermon delivered by NASFAT’S Zonal Missionary\/ Chief Imam, Imam Marooph Muh’d Raji during the Eid-el- Kabir prayer held at NASFAT ground Kaduna.<\/div>\n

<\/div>\n<\/blockquote>\n
\n
Imam Marooph urged Muslim Umah and the generality of Nigerians to seek repentance from their creator saying, both the leaders and the led are guilty of the situation of banditry, kidnapping and all manners of vices we find ourselves today.<\/div>\n

<\/div>\n
“It is stated in the Quran that when you seek for forgiveness Allah will not forsake you. Allah is All-forgiven, All Merciful. Let us all turn to Almighty Allah.<\/div>\n<\/blockquote>\n

“The global problem we are facing today, particularly in\u00a0 Nigeria, the issue of banditry, kidnapping, economic hardship, there is solution for it? We need to repent and seek for forgiveness.<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
“All these problems we are facing today is the end product\u00a0 of our actions, of our misdeeds, of our mistakes, of our sins to Almighty Allah, individually or collectively. We have sin against Allah, and when we sin against Allah after guiding us on the right part, Allah will never change any situation until the people change their own situation.”<\/div>\n<\/blockquote>\n
<\/div>\n

The Imam called for attitudinal change in order that we can reap the blessings of Allah and have solutions to problems bedeviling our country.<\/div>\n
“Let us all change from bad to good. Let’s move away from sins, increase our services to Allah and enjoy His blessings.<\/div>\n<\/blockquote>\n
<\/div>\n
\n
Most importantly, let’s repent for our sins and may Almighty forgive us and accept our istigafar and may Allah change the situation in Nigeria for better. Ameen.<\/div>\n<\/blockquote>\n

Speaking on leadership, he said.<\/div>\n
“Everybody both the leaders and the led, we have contributed to what is happening today. We have in one way or the other wronged Allah by doing wrong to ourselves. As a leader, we need to change. We need to change the needful. And the led, we need to change our mindsets, we need not to curse our leaders. They are the drivers driving us in their vehicles. If we curse them and they have accident, we are going to be affected so let us all change our mindsets by calling on to Allah together. But first, we need to change our actions from bad to good, from negative to positive.\u00a0 Both the leaders and the led are enjoined to repent and enjoy God’s forgiveness. May Almighty Allah change our situation from bad to good.”<\/div>\n

“May Allah accept our sacrifice for it is the fear of God that is the reason for slaughtering the ram for Allah.<\/div>\n<\/blockquote>\n
<\/div>\n

The Imam encouraged that part of the meat be shared as enjoined by Allah to those in need. Those who have no means to slaughter so that they can also enjoy the happiness of the festivity.<\/div>\n<\/blockquote>\n

“The message for the entire Umah is for us to know that this is a period of happiness, a period for sacrifice\u00a0 and service to Almighty Allah, so we need to commit ourselves to Almighty Allah. The prayers, and the animal we are sacrificing, may Almighty Allah accept it from us as an act of lbadah”<\/div>\n<\/blockquote>\n

Speaking, the Vice Chairman NASFAT Kaduna Branch, Alhaji Abdul Akeem Adeniji called for sober reflection by following the Quran and teachings of the Holy Prophet SAW.<\/div>\n
He enjoined everyone to imbibe the spirit of forgiveness so that Almighty Allah can as well forgive us.<\/div>\n<\/blockquote>\n

“Today is very significant in the lives of Muslims. We need to reflect on what Prophet Ibrahim ASW did during his life\u00a0 time. He sacrificed his son for Allah based on the promise he had with Almighty Allah but in turn Allah replaced his son that was to be slaughtered with a ram. The lmam in his sermon mentioned that all that is happening is as a result of the sins we have committed and the only thing that we can do is seek for Allah’s forgiveness. For Allah in the Quran says after His forgiveness, He will then\u00a0 bless us.<\/div>\n
So we enjoin all Muslims to continue seeking for forgiveness from Allah for all our sins that we have committed, the ones we know and that which we don’t know. He said.<\/div>\n

Contributing Chairman NASFAT Kaduna Media Center, NASKAM, Engr. Muhyideen Alimi Yusuf lamenting the state of the nation called for every Nigerian to pray for an end to the calamities we are witnessing today. He said even though the mood is that of festivity, it is a celebration of sober reflection as some of our fellow Nigerians are in captivity.<\/div>\n<\/blockquote>\n

“Today is a day we need to reflect because of the circumstances we find ourselves in this country. As we speak, some people are under captivity of kidnappers, under the captivity of banditry. Is either people are kidnapped or people are killed, a lot of blood letting going on for no just reason. It is with deep sense of concern as we are celebrating Eid-el-Kabir which is an important tenent of Islam. We are using this period to\u00a0 pray for our family members, our brothers, our sisters that are under captivity and those that are dead and pray that Allah touches the heart of these perpetrators for a change.<\/div>\n<\/blockquote>\n

“We pray for peace to reign in our country, for our economy to be lifted out of depression. May Allah continue to guide and protect us all<\/div>\n
