{"id":9395,"date":"2021-09-03T06:50:31","date_gmt":"2021-09-03T06:50:31","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/newsreservoir.com\/?p=9395"},"modified":"2021-09-03T06:50:31","modified_gmt":"2021-09-03T06:50:31","slug":"security-kdsg-places-ban-on-transportation-of-livestock-from-kaduna-state-re-iterates-ban-on-felling-transporting-of-trees-sales-of-petrol-in-jerry-cans","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/newsreservoir.com\/?p=9395","title":{"rendered":"Security: KDSG Places Ban on\u00a0transportation of livestock from Kaduna State   &#8230; Re-iterates Ban on felling\/transporting of trees, Sales Of Petrol in Jerry cans"},"content":{"rendered":"<div dir=\"auto\">Security: KDSG Places Ban on\u00a0transportation of livestock from Kaduna State<\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\"><\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\">&#8230; Re-iterates Ban on felling\/transporting of trees, Sales Of Petrol in Jerry cans<\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\"><\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\">Zainab Tanimu<\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\"><\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\">Kaduna,<\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\"><\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\">The Kaduna state Government on Thursday, 2nd September, 2021 placed ban on transportation of livestock from Kaduna State.<\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\"><\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\">It also re-iterates the ban earlier placed on felling\/transporting of trees, selling of petrol in jerry cans in selected LGAs of the state.<\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\"><\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\">According to the statement issued and signed by the Commissioner, Ministry of Internal Security and Home Affairs, Kaduna State, Samuel Aruwan,<\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\"><\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\"><\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\"><\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\">&#8220;After wide consultations and series of thorough security reviews, the Kaduna State Government has banned the transportation of livestock from the state to other states in the country.<\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\"><\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\">This ban also prohibits the transportation of livestock into Kaduna state from other states. Both bans take effect immediately, from today 2nd September 2021.<\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\"><\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\">The government also wishes to reiterate that the transportation of donkeys into the state is a criminal offence and anyone found engaging in this will be prosecuted accordingly.<\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\"><\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\">Furthermore, the Kawo weekly market which usually holds every Tuesday in Kaduna North LGA has been suspended with immediate effect.<\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\"><\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\">The Government of Kaduna State wishes to highlight that the previous directives suspending weekly markets, and selling of petrol in jerrycans in Birnin Gwari, Giwa, Chikun, Igabi and Kajuru LGAs, as well as banning the felling of trees for timber, firewood and charcoal and other commercial purposes in Birnin Gwari, Kachia, Kajuru, Giwa, Chikun, Igabi and Kauru LGAs, are still in force.<\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\"><\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\">Citizens are hereby informed that all these directives will be vigorously enforced by security agencies.<\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\"><\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\">The statement stressed.<\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\"><\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\"><\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Security: KDSG Places Ban on\u00a0transportation of livestock from Kaduna State &#8230; Re-iterates Ban on felling\/transporting of trees, Sales Of Petrol in Jerry cans Zainab Tanimu Kaduna, The Kaduna state Government on Thursday, 2nd September, 2021 placed ban on transportation of livestock from Kaduna State.
