When the price of flour shot up to\u00a0<strong>\u20a680,000\u2013\u20a690,000<\/strong>, bread sellers wasted no time raising the price of bread. But now that flour has fallen to\u00a0<strong>\u20a635,000\u2013\u20a640,000<\/strong>, what has changed?<br \/>\n<strong>Nothing.<\/strong>\u00a0The price of bread remains painfully high.<\/p>\n<p>Fellow Nigerians, this is not the time to fold our arms.<br \/>\nThis is the moment to\u00a0<strong>stand together<\/strong>, to raise our voices, and to demand the fairness we deserve.<\/p>\n<p>If bread sellers and manufacturers could increase prices when their costs were rising, then\u00a0<strong>they must reduce those prices now<\/strong>\u00a0that the cost of flour has dropped. Fairness must work both ways.<\/p>\n<p>To all bakeries, bread sellers, and manufacturers, we say:<br \/>\n<strong>Be fair. Do the right thing. Reduce the price of bread.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>And to all Nigerians\u2014across cities, towns, and villages\u2014let us unite in this simple but powerful demand. Support only those businesses that uphold integrity. Speak out wherever prices remain unfair.<\/p>\n<p>Bread is not just food. It is a symbol of daily survival.<br \/>\nNigeria deserves honesty.
