Israel\u2019s war on Gaza live: Doctors find new mass grave at al-Shifa Hospital<\/p>\n

Palestinian doctors have told Al Jazeera that they have discovered another mass grave in the vicinity of Gaza City\u2019s al-Shifa Hospital, recently besieged by Israeli soldiers, with nine bodies believed to be those of patients found so far.<\/p>\n

Rescuers and medics search for dead bodies inside the damaged Al Shifa Hospital after Israeli forces withdrew from the hospital and the area around it following a two-week operation.<\/p>\n

At least 33,797 Palestinians have been killed and 76,465 wounded in Israeli attacks on Gaza since October 7. The death toll in Israel from Hamas\u2019s October 7 attacks stands at 1,139 with dozens of people still held captive.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, Hamas has decried Israeli \u2018war crimes\u2019 at al-Shifa Hospital as mass graves were found.<\/p>\n

The Palestinian group said the new mass grave discovered at al-Shifa Hospital in Gaza is \u201chorrifying\u201d.<\/p>\n

The group said the mass grave includes \u201cseveral decomposing bodies\u201d that Israeli forces, using military bulldozers, hid under the rubble before withdrawing from the medical complex earlier this month.<\/p>\n

Israeli forces have attacked and besieged the hospital several times since October 7, leaving it largely in ruins. Thousands of medical staff, patients, and displaced families were at the facility during the attacks, with witnesses saying hundreds lost their lives as a result.<\/p>\n

The latest discovery indicates that there are \u201cno limits\u201d to what Israeli forces are willing to do, Hamas said.<\/p>\n

Their crimes are continuing because of the international community\u2019s silence in the face of this \u201cgenocide\u201d against Palestinians in Gaza, the group added.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe series of ongoing violations, including the discovery of mass graves in al-Shifa, cases of execution, and the hundreds of bodies that remain under the rubble \u2026 are clear and well-documented war crimes,\u201d it said.<\/p>\n

Hamas called on the international community to bring those responsible to justice.<\/p>\n
