AAGG Gives Tinubu Kudos for approving monumental design of 1000-kilometre Sokoto-Badagry Coastal Highway<\/p>\n

A group under the auspices of Arewa Advocates for Good Governance (AAGG) has commended President Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s approval of the design for the monumental 1000-kilometre Sokoto-Badagry Coastal Highway.<\/p>\n

The commendation was given today during a press conference held at the Nigeria Union of Journalists NUJ Kaduna.<\/p>\n

The group in a statement titled,”The Infrastructural Midas’ Touch Of Bola Ahmed Tinubu” signed by its National Chairman, Alhaji Jamilu Mato, has described the project as a significant milestone in the nation’s infrastructure development.<\/p>\n

The project if completed, it said will boost the nation’s economy as<\/p>\n

It will attract foreign investors to do business.<\/p>\n

“We are delighted to announce and applaud President Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s approval of the design for the monumental 1000-kilometre Sokoto-Badagry Coastal Highway.<\/p>\n

“This project, indisputably, if completed will transform connectivity and trade across regions. This historic milestone is a testament to President Tinubu’s visionary leadership and commitment to enhancing Nigeria’s road infrastructure.<\/div>\n

“We are also aware that the Tinubu’s led-government is planing to connect the six -geo-political zones in the country with a network of roads that would foster a more secure, safer and sustainable transportation system.<\/div>\n

The group called on the leadership of the PDP and members to join hands with Bola Tinubu administration to move the nation forward.<\/div>\n

David Nweze Umahi who\u00a0 for his efforts.<\/p>\n

“As concerned citizens, we equally extend our sincere appreciation to the Honourable Minister of Works, Engr. David Nweze Umahi for his steadfast dedication and tireless efforts in championing this transformative project.<\/p>\n

“In less than a year, under Senator Umahi’s leadership, the Ministry of Works has exemplified excellence and innovation, laying the foundation for sustainable development and progress.<\/p>\n

“It is also imperative to say that the coastal road would connect the South-West, South-South, North-East, North-West and North-Central regions of Nigeria when completed. This is just as the Lagos-Calabar Coastal Highway project is on going, amongst many other federal government road projects.<\/p>\n
